Adhesive Fun with Stampendous and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L

It's time to get back into the swing of things for the week, but what better way then to hop along with me and a few more designers in a blog hop!  I'm having a ton of fun with the products from Scrapbook Adhesives 3L and can't wait to show you all that I've made.

First let's get the hop and prize information out of the way.

After you're finished here hop on over to see what the other designer's have done with their products.

If you comment along the hop this week you might be one of three randomly selected winners to receive this fantastic prize! More details are on the Stampendous blog today.

Now for my project today!

I stamped the bottom of Enjoy the Ride twice on white cardstock and colored just the vehicles on one to hand trim out and then on the other I colored the trees and airbrushed the sky. The vehicles were colored in a dark gray so they look like shadows. The vehicles were added with Small Black 3D foam squares

I really wanted to make a great sky scene for my travellers so I sprinkled Detail Clear embossing powder and Hot Yellow Color Fragments onto the background and heated from the back side of the cardstock. I wanted a couple of the stars to be bigger and round so I placed Mini Dodz down and rubbed crushed Hot Neon Color Fragments into them.

I finished with the sentiment in Detail White Embossing Powder, that I aligned using my mini MISTI tool. I love using this because it allows me to stamp the sentiment multiple times in the exact same spot for a darker and solid stamped image.

The image layer was adhered to color cardstock with E-Z Runner Permanent Strips Dispenser and then again onto the white card base.

Thanks for stopping by today and I'll see you later this week with more projects!

Let's Celebrate Plain Jane Style!

There is an Anni-Verve-Sary party going on today! Verve Stamp Company is 2 years old! The hop started at Verve's blog , so come hop on board and see over 5 dozen projects that are sure to get your Verve on! I've been waiting for the right time to blog about this project and when the opportunity came to join in the anniversary blog hop for Verve I knew it was time. My blog hop project today uses all Plain Jane Bible verses from Verve. I saw this project at Susan Roberts gallery on Splitcoaststampers and went to her blog to get the details . I decided to make one for my mother as a Christmas present...in 2008. Yep, I just now finished it and I have the blog hop to thank. Using sketches would have made this a whole lot faster. LOL The two cards shown in the picture above use the latest Plain Jane release for Psalm 121:1-2 (hanging on box) and Hebrews 11:1 (in front of box). And I'll give the details below, but first here's a slide show of the whole year. Hebr...
