Today is a fantastic blog hop day collaboration with ClearScraps and Tsukineko ! I'm sure you have already been inspired throughout this week but I'm so glad that we are all together today. I love a good hop, don't you? Grab your breakfast, snack or other meal (I always think second breakfast when the words "other meal" are said, LOL) and snatch up a pen and paper to take some notes on what you'll be doing next with your new Stampendous ,  ClearScraps  and Tsukineko goodies. Remember, you have a chance to win some of the goodies you've seen all week and  all the details can be found on our sponsor blogs ( Stampendous Blog and ClearScraps Blog ). Now let's get to my Sassy Album. Garden Background and filigree from Jumbo Peony I started out with a bunch of inspiration from our talented Stampendous designers who are always on the ball with their projects. Thank you talented best designer friends! My original idea was for a scrapbo...

Fairy Princess Invitations are full of fun and glitter

I have a friend, whom I absolutely adore, that is so hard to figure out a type of gift for give. So whenever there is even the slightest need that I might be able to help out... I jump on it! LOL My friend's daughter is going to have a Fairy Princess Birthday Party in July. It's going to be a tea party and a fancy one at that. When she asked if I had any stamps that would fit a birthday of this type... I snickered and worked my angles to find out what she needed. I quickly looked for some stamps and found THE adorable Miss Fairy Grace in my digital stamps file. She was perfect for the card. I grabbed my Copic markers and started coloring 5 printed images, each one specifically colored to look like the invited princesses. I needed a tea cup and sentiment on the cover. I dusted off my graphics software and went to work. Is that not the cutest cup!!!!! I really am tickled with how it turned out. Just tickled. The card base is embossed and left simple so I could...

Wings of Love will star in this Mojo Sketch

I took one look at this sketch and had to make something with it. It's this week's Mojo Monday sketch. The only hesitation was which card shape to make. Circle or square? I'm a square girl I guess. There is a lot of play going on in this card. I pulled out some acrylic paint, new stencils and instant coffee. Yep, the coffee was on purpose. Thanks Julee for a fun sketch this week! Details: Stamps:   Wings of Love (Verve Stamps) Paper:  Love Struck (WRMK), white copy paper, kraft (Wausau) Ink:  Brushed Corduroy Accessories:   Wavy Hearts Die (A Cut Above Die, Verve Stamps), antique lace, mini-stapler (Ranger), embossing folders (Sissix), circle dies (Lifestyle Crafts), pinking shears (Fiskars), Blue Mist paint (American Crafts), Chewing Gum Acrylic Paint (Jenni Bowlin, Ranger), radar stencil (Studio Calico)

There is a Wedded Bliss

At least some days there can be!    I was in crafty bliss creating this card I'm sharing  today. I grabbed a bunch of supplies and had fingers flying all of the craft room. My favorite playlist booming in the background. It was a fun time just for me. The Viva La Verve challenge for June is wrapping up in a few days. Plenty of time to create some projects with all the sketches. See this post in the forum for all the sketches lined up and the deadlines and prize waiting for one champion! The card is using Teresa's awesomely angular sketch for Viva La Verve sketch this week. I'm keeping it simple with my post today. We've got some tennis plans with the kids and I need to be ready to go if my hubby can get away from extra work this weekend. I made everything on this card, save the pearls, corsage pin, paper and ribbon. I used a hole punch and a perforated rotary blade to make the base mat. A EK Success Rounded hole punch and the same rotary blade for the sec...

Stampendous Summer in a PDCC Color Splash

Good morning!  It's going to be a great day today for one little fella. My little fella who's turning 5! I've scrambled up a quick card for him using a Stampendous summery image, Balloon Kiddo . I've got a fun little challenge combo going on with the card because I'm using the Play Date Cafe Color Splash Challenge, but it's a summery Stampendous Challenge card, too! AND June "Something Summery" Challenge I quickly stamped the image on white cardstock, then stamped the balloons a few times on some scraps of blue paper. (There's no importance to stamping quickly versus slowly... I was just in a hurry to go to bed). I grabbed all the Neutral Gray Copic Markers I had and started coloring the Kiddo. Cut out all the balloons with my scissors and popped up the top three balloons with adhesive foam dots. (This is where I'm a little backwards, folks). I then cut out the image from the white paper until I liked the white spa...

CAS Week Viva La Verve style

Surprise! Viva La Verve's CAS sketch is a week early.   Come join me this week as I host Viva La Verve sketch in the SCS forum   I sprinkled this card with a few embossed filigree stamps from the Filigree Fantasy set from Verve on some cream cardstock and pattern paper from Authentique's Delightful Collection. The stars are cut out with the A Cut Above Winter Fun Die Set  and popped up with foam adhesive dots and squares. The embossed sentiment was popped up on both ends and glued down in the middle for a curved technique. As a finishing element, some of the mat edges were distressed with an edge scraper. That's it! Details: Stamps:  Filigree Fantasy  (Verve Stamps) Paper: Delightful (Authentique), cream (Wausau) Ink: Versamark Watermark inkpad (Tsukineko) Accessories: Winter Fun (A Cut Above Die, Verve), Lettuce Embossing Powder (Adirondak, Ranger), paper piercer and guide (SU!), zigzag scissors (Fiskars), pop dots and square...
