Around our house, we celebrate not in a day but sometimes a week, so it's fine that this post comes to you fours days after the US holiday for moms.

Instructions:

1. Fold in half an 8-1/2 by 5-1/2 inch pink cardstock for the card base.
2. Stamp Peony Umbrella with black ink onto Mixed Media White Paper and color.
3. Stamp the sentiment from Greetings Galore with black ink onto white paper and trim with Fitted Frame die and mat with Lavender cardstock from the outer frame.
4. Mat image with lavender cardstock and adhere to sentiment under the bottom then glue to the card base.
5. Adhere small bow above sentiment.

Instructions:

1. Stamp with Memento black ink onto Mixed Media White Paper and color.
2. Stamp the sentiment using a stamp positioner and black ink onto each layer of card and glue together.
3. The card base is folded 5-1/2 by 8-1/2 inch kraft cardstock. The pattern paper is 4 by 5-1/4 inches. The image is approximately 4-3/16 by 3-3/16 inches. The image mat is approximately 4-5/16 by 3-5/16 inches.

Temperatures are dipping down, green grass is waking up coated in frost and rush hour traffic has already turned to holiday traffic around here and it just amazes me that we are so close to Thanksgiving, Black Friday and then time for Christmas!

Instructions:

1. Fold 5-1/2 by 8-1/2 inch kraft cardstock in half for card base. 
2. Stamp Ornament Warmth with black ink onto Mixed Media White Paper that is cut with inner P size Fitted Frames die and color.
3. Frame with red cardstock cut from the outer P size Fitted Frame die. 
4. Adhere to the back of the colored image then to card base.
5. Stamp sentiment with black ink on white paper and trim into strip cutting fishtails on both ends. Frame with red cardstock.
6. Die cut two holly shapes from Build A Wreath set and adhere to back of sentiment then glue to card base.

If you Give A Mouse Conversation Hearts

If you give a mouse conversation hearts he'll make a balanced conversation out of them! "Be mine, love you! XO"

My card for today was made for the Stampendous October 2017 catalog release. I just love this mouse lounging in a pile of heart candy. I'm not sure that it would be comfortable to lay on those bumpy candies, but this mouse doesn't mind at all!

This mouse Balancing Hearts might seem like the main theme of my card, and well it certainly was planned that way but there's another major product I loved using too. Check out the heart vine border filled with colorful hearts! This die comes in the Spring Border Die Set also from the October 2017 release.

Here's how I made this sweet little card.

1. Fold 5-1/2 x 11 inch Wildflower cardstock in half for card base.
2. Adhere Pink Carnation cardstock onto the base.
3. Stamp Balancing Hearts onto Mixed Media White Paper and color.
4. Mat with Sky and Tuscan Sky cardstock using Mini Layering tool and adhere with foam squares to card base.
5. Die cut Spring Border die from 1 x 5-1/4 inch Sky cardstock and glue down onto the card base.
6. Die cut additional borders from scraps of Tuscan Sky, Grasshopper, and Wildflower to inlay different color heart shapes into Sky border on the card base.
7. Tie twine around card front.

It's what I do! I'm a maker who receives goodies for design team work, but I wouldn't do it if I didn't already like the products I receive so comments I make are what I mean and not just because I received them to make my project. House-Mouse Are Stirring Up the Holidays!

Not a creature was stirring, but maybe a few mice! This week there is a plethora of House-Mouse Christmas designs being shared by Stampendous and the Design Team! Stop by and have a blast seeing these mischievous creatures in their holiday best!

Today I have the sweetest two mice enjoying some holiday Gift Giving! I took the time to mask this image and made a bokeh effect for colorful tree lights in the background. It was a lot of fun and easy! You can get all the details at the end of my post today...just keep scrolling.

Instructions:

1. Fold 5-1/2 x 11 cardstock in half for card base.
2. Trim pattern paper 4 x 5-1/4 inch and glue to card base. Glue strip of base cardstock across the card.
3. Stamp Gift Giving in black ink onto Mixed Media White Paper and color.
4. Mask mice (and branch if desired) and across the base. Gently sponge distress inks with a twisting motion.
5. Remove mask and trim with "P" size Fitted Frame die and a larger frame with colored cardstock. Glue together.
6. Tie cord around the image and adhere with foam adhesive to card base.
7. Stamp sentiment from Wrapped Poinsettia with black ink underneath the colored image.

Instructions:

1. Stamp Pencil Sharpener with black ink onto Mixed Media White Paper and color.
2. Cut out the colored image with outer Fitted Frame for the P size stamp. 
3. Cut out the outer Fitted Frame for the P size stamp from Parrot cardstock. (Inner frame for R size was used in sample)
4. Cut out a circle from Tuscan Sky cardstock and stamp sentiment from Mice Wishes with black ink.
5. Cut out a scallop circle from Mixed Media White Paper and glue onto the back of stamped circle.
6. Adhere image to outer frame with foam adhesives.
7. Glue sentiment circle under framed image and glue to card base.
8. Tie ribbon in a knot around pattern paper and glue to 5-1/2 square inch folded card base.
9. Add random dots of Liquid Glass in top left and bottom right corner of card. Sprinkle Sunflower yellow Micro Glitter from Spring Kit over dots. Gently tap off excess and return to jar.
10. Repeat dots of Liquid Glass and sprinkle with Lime green Micro Glitter from kit. Tap off excess and return to jar.

Instructions:

1. Stamp Hungry Snowman with black ink onto Mixed Media White Paper and color (see marker selection in in Other Supplies).
2. Stamp Thank You sentiment with black ink onto the sign in the colored image.
3. Trim and glue to Brick cardstock. Use Mini Layer Tool to trim around the image with the 1/16-inch edge.
4. Glue onto 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 inch Madras Blue card base.
5. Sprinkle with Ice Blue Frantage Embossing Enamel and Oceanic Glass Glitter then heat set from the back side of the card front. (This can also be done before gluing to the card base.)

Instructions:

1. Stamp Doorbell Ringers with black ink onto Mixed Media White Paper and color.
2. Trim and adhere to Lilac Mist mat with foam adhesives.
3. Trim and fold Antique Gold cardstock for 5-1/2 square inch folded card base.
4. Trim pattern paper the same height as card and slightly smaller in width, one edge at an angle.
5. Trace angle edge onto the card base, remove and tape down Lace Metal Stencil.
6. Spread Regular Paste along one edge and then spread evenly across the stencil.
7. Sprinkle Purple Micro Glitter over stencil while the paste is still wet.
8. Remove stencil and wash immediately. 
9. Let card base dry and then adhere pattern paper.
10. Stamp sentiment from Beary Mice set onto white cardstock and trim with Fitted Frames die.
11. Cut a frame using the die from Grape Vine cardstock and glue sentiment on top of the frame. 
12. Glue sentiment below the colored image and glue onto card base.

3. Add dabs of liquid glue across the bottom of colored grass and press Leaf Grass Color Fragments into glue.
4. Tie twine in a bow around the top of the image.
5. Adhere to Grasshopper color cardstock with foam adhesive.
6. Adhere to Yellow Corn card base.

Instructions:

1. Fold 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 inch Seafoam cardstock in half for card base.
2. Stamp Dearest One with black ink onto Mixed Media White Paper and color.
3. Mask top half of image with pen and sticky notes or piece of paper on the bottom half.
4. Place Lace Metal Stencil over the top half of image and airbrush BG15 marker using the Color Spritzer. Start on the masked area and sweep out to the edges of the image.
5. Remove stencil and spray with BG72 to darken the background.
6. Rub mask off with glue remover eraser.
7. Tie ribbon in a knot around the colored image and glue onto card base.

Stampendous and Creative Impressions

Happy Monday, crafters! I'm stopping in for a quick post to share with the Stampendous Design Team for a House-Mouse in merry preparations for the holidays!

My card today uses House-Mouse® Snow Cap Nap and some sparkly silver ribbon by Creative Impressions. Creative Impressions carries some pretty nice ribbon that the design team has been using for a few catalog releases. A shout out to them for sending us such a great array of ribbons. The background is made with a Dreamweaver Stencil called Bricks which is going to be a lot of fun to use in future House-Mouse backgrounds.

Instructions:

1. Fold a Parrot colored cardstock in half for a 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 inch card base. Set aside.
2. Stamp Snow Cap Nap with black ink onto Mixed Media White Paper and color.
3. Stamp again on copy paper and trim across the top of the bed and the hat, then tape down on colored image.
4. Tape Bricks Stencil over masked image and use gray markers to airbrush onto top of colored image. Remove stencil and slide over to repeat. Add a scrap paper as a mask over the previous airbrushed bricks.
5. Remove stencil, leaving the image mask in place airbrush cool gray over all the bricks.
6. Remove masks and glue on Firecracker Red cardstock.
7. Tie silver ribbon around bottom.
8. Die cut needle die twice with Evergreen cardstock and glue underneath ribbon on each side of card.
9. Die cut white cardstock and Mint Julep cardstock with fitted frames to size of sentiment desired.
10. Stamp sentiment with black ink onto white die cut cardstock and adhere to colored cardstock.
11. Adhere sentiment centered across ribbon with 3D foam adhesives.
12. Sprinkle Stardust Embossing Powder around sides and top of image. Heat set from the back of card.
13. Glue entire matted image onto card base.

Instructions:

1. Fold a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inch card stock in half for a finished 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 inch card base.
2. Trim a strip of cardstock to 1 x 12 inch strip. 
3. Score in a pattern of 1/4, 1/4, 3/4 inch and repeat across the strip. 
4. Fold so every other 3/4 inch section is mountain fold and sew strip together to make a pleated ruffle.
5. Glue onto card base with tape runner and tie a ribbon into a bow over the top edge of the ruffle.
6. Stamp Umbrella Shade with black ink onto Mixed Media Paper and color.
7. Trim with Fitted Frames die and cut out coordinated frame die on color cardstock.
8. Glue image to frame and then adhere to card base with foam tape.

Instructions:

1. Fold 5 1/2 x 11 color cardstock in half for a 5 1/2 square inch card base.
2. Stamp Sandpiper Hello onto Mixed Media White Paper and color.
3. Die cut the image and color cardstock frame with Fitted Frames B Set.
4. Stamp Ocean Wisdom stamp on Mixed Media White Paper and cut out with nesting oval die.
5. Stamp seashells and color. Die cut coordinating set.
6. Tie bow around front of card base.
7. Position colored image and sentiment in place and glue image down.
8. Use foam tape on sentiment and slide one shell behind sentiment and foam tape the second one to the front of the sentiment.

Summer Showers

Moving right this week in the House-Mouse  summer theme I'm sharing one that I really loved to color. It was really my first time to color rocks, tons of rocks. So I did a search for river rock and used an image for reference.

Instructions:

1. Fold a 5 1/2 x 11 inch cardstock in half for a 5 1/2 square inch card base.
2. Layer between your embossing machine plates and embossing mat the Big Dots metal stencil onto the bottom plate then add paper and rest of pads and plates according to your machine's instructions and roll through your machine. Hand emboss with a stylus if the paper and stencil do not fit through your machine.
3. Stamp Spigot Shower with black ink onto mixed media paper and color.
4. Trim around image and layer onto color cardstock and trim with ruler, or measure and cut cardstock 1/8 inch larger than image size. Repeat with another layer of color cardstock.
5. Trim Mixed Media White paper with Fitted Frames B die and one more with larger size in color cardstock. 
6. Stamp sentiment from Ocean Wisdom with black ink onto one end of white fitted frame die cut and glue onto color cardstock mat.
7. Score along middle mark, fold and glue back to matted image layer. Add foam tape to the front and secure sentiment.
8. Glue onto card base.
9. Tie a bow around card front.
