It's unofficial, but today is considered Lighthouse Day! These monuments along the coastlines are always filled with such intriguing stories it's a great idea to call them out on their own day! So why not share a Lighthouse card, right? Stampendous recently released a holiday stamp for the lighthouse enthusiasts and I was intrigued by it because I had never really looked at how the light plays in the night sky. Thanks to Google, I found some reference images and started combining colors from my Copic markers. (I received this stamp and other Stampendous supplies as part of my design team work.) I wish I would have jotted down the exact combination, but I believe I went from a light yellow (Y11) to light green (G20) before moving into the muted blues in the night sky. Hey, friends, I've got a mixed media project to share today! I've been having a wonderful summer with my family, but I took a break to pop in the studio for the next Mix-Ability challenge. Lucky for me I am also the host for the challenge this week and it was inspired by the cover of a book I read this summer so we can combine our reading with our crafting!
