Making Music with Stampendous


The design team is playing with some musical characters this week to have some super fun! Meet the birthday singers! No, actually this stamp is call Musical Mice and it's available on the Stampendous website or near you at your favorite store!

HMCR24 Cling Musical Mice
CRS7003 Mixed Media Cling Rubber Musical Motif
SSC1203 Regal Heart Perfectly Clear Stamp Set
MPW811 Mixed Media White Paper
MEM01 Memento Tuxedo Black Ink by Tsukineko®
SSH46 Large Perfectly Clear Acrylic Stamp Handle

Plus:
Cardstock by Bazzill Basics®
Cardstock by Wausau®
Sketch™ Alcohol Markers by Copic® (pretty much all the E family, but I'll add the list soon)
Zip-Dry™ Paper Glue by Beacon Adhesives
Scissors

Instructions:

  1. Create a card base by folding a 5 1/2 x 11 inch cardstock in half with a finished size of 5 1/2 inches square.
  2. Stamp Musical Motif with black ink onto Mixed Media White Paper and color.
  3. Mat colored image with black cardstock.
  4. Place the folded card base over the corner of textured paper at an angle. Use a pencil to trace three edges of the card base onto the paper, then trim and glue to card base.
  5. Stamp keys from Musical Motif with black ink onto white cardstock and trim.
  6. Glue keys onto bottom of card base and add colored image onto card base with foam squares.
  7. Stamp sentiment from Regal Heart set with black ink onto cardstock and trim with scissors.
  8. Adhere sentiment onto card.

Let's Celebrate Plain Jane Style!

There is an Anni-Verve-Sary party going on today! Verve Stamp Company is 2 years old! The hop started at Verve's blog , so come hop on board and see over 5 dozen projects that are sure to get your Verve on! I've been waiting for the right time to blog about this project and when the opportunity came to join in the anniversary blog hop for Verve I knew it was time.
