Happy Anniversary Verve!

Today is Verve Stamps third Anniversary and everyone from Divas to customers are making a Hop about it! There a total of 83 hops to take and each one is going to feature some extraordinary Verve style.

You've already been to Botanical Cafe with Chriss and her Verve-y goodness but if you're just joining in at my hop then why not get comfortable and start at the beginning with Julee, at Poetic Artistry where you'll get all the details and of course what's up for Anniversary prizes. If somewhere you get a hiccup in the hop go to the master blog hop list to get back to surfing the hop.

I love everything Verve and I'm so excited to be able to join in this hop to celebrate Julee and all her fabulous accomplishments with Verve Stamps. Happy Anniversary and wishes for many more fabulous years!

For my card I used one of the inspiration photos for Viva La Verve August Week 1. The base mat is a collage of Bountiful Backgrounds, handmade parallel lines and leave silhouettes. I stamped the leaves from Forever in our Hearts and the Leaves Plain Jane on the base mat and then stamped and cut out the smaller flower from Feel the Sun using my Prismacolor Markers to color them. The leaves were diecut with Stampin' Up Tiny Leaves die and Sissix Leaves Bigz Die where I added some dimension with a marker and colorless blender. I finished this anniversary card off with a sentiment from Anniversary Birds and a scrap piece of red organdy ribbon.

Thanks for hopping by! Now it's time to hop on over to Heidi's Happening’s blog, for a little more Verve-y goodness.

Let's Celebrate Plain Jane Style!

There is an Anni-Verve-Sary party going on today! Verve Stamp Company is 2 years old! The hop started at Verve's blog , so come hop on board and see over 5 dozen projects that are sure to get your Verve on! I've been waiting for the right time to blog about this project and when the opportunity came to join in the anniversary blog hop for Verve I knew it was time. My blog hop project today uses all Plain Jane Bible verses from Verve. I saw this project at Susan Roberts gallery on Splitcoaststampers and went to her blog to get the details . I decided to make one for my mother as a Christmas present...in 2008. Yep, I just now finished it and I have the blog hop to thank. Using sketches would have made this a whole lot faster. LOL The two cards shown in the picture above use the latest Plain Jane release for Psalm 121:1-2 (hanging on box) and Hebrews 11:1 (in front of box). And I'll give the details below, but first here's a slide show of the whole year. Hebr...
