InStyle Stamps Wedding Week Sneak Peek


Instyle Stamps is having another week of Sneak Peeks! There is another prize so go check it out on this post at InStyle Stamps. Today's sneak peek is Mylie, our "always a bridesmaid never a bride", but Someday...

...her prince will come. That's what this card is all about. Now-a-days bridesmaid dresses are much more generous in flattery for those poor ladies that seem to be in the attendant line, but there always seems to be something about the dress that just makes it not re-usable.


1. Mylie's first invitation to be a bridesmaid. She was asked to wear a nice pretty spring green dress, but that large coral flower! If the flower were to be taken off, it would leave thread holes that looked like a termite colony had just been there. 2. Or how about the theme wedding where she had to dress like...well a medieval barmaid. 3. Now when her friend across the country emailed her the picture of that gorgeous bronze dress, when she got it in the mail it was patent leather! 4. Okay, the last dress was alright, it only had a corded sash, but who has never heard the bride tell the bridesmaid she got the dress because it goes SO well with her eyes. Gasp!

So someday Mylie will be the one front and center alongside her prince, so valiant and true. To take her away from all those almost-just-right bridesmaid dresses. Happily ever after... The End.

Let's Celebrate Plain Jane Style!

There is an Anni-Verve-Sary party going on today! Verve Stamp Company is 2 years old! The hop started at Verve's blog , so come hop on board and see over 5 dozen projects that are sure to get your Verve on! I've been waiting for the right time to blog about this project and when the opportunity came to join in the anniversary blog hop for Verve I knew it was time. My blog hop project today uses all Plain Jane Bible verses from Verve. I saw this project at Susan Roberts gallery on Splitcoaststampers and went to her blog to get the details .
