It's Bloghop time with the ISS Design Team

Today we are hopping along the InStyle Stamps Design Team for Father's Day inspiration. We've just started with the awesome and talented Angela and now it's my turn. My project today is a card using one of the fabulous Day in the Life images that are about the most amazing stamps out there! It's called Father and Kid . If you take a peek behind the card you'll see that it is a self standing card. And if you're really curious you can open the flaps to see the secret message. Gotcha! There's nothing written yet. Okay, I hope you've enjoyed your HOP STOP here at Rain Puddles Design and now it's time to head on over to Raquel for her fabulous project. Remember to go through the whole blog hop and then go back to the very beginning to vote for your favorite project. I know it's going to be hard to pick just one favorite but I know you can do it! {wink} UPDATE: I've made up a template for the self-standing card. Ho...

I'm on SplitcoastStampers Today

Good morning everyone! I have been very excited to let you all know that today I have a tutorial at Splitcoast Stampers! They have been such a wonderful group to work with and help me in getting this Date Night Tutorial put together. I owe a huge thank you to Beate Johns and Lydia for reviewing, editing and setting up my tutorial so professionally, as they always do for SCS tutorials. I'm sure there are others that helped as well, that I don't know about so, thank you! The step-by-step instructions use the "It's Date Night Time" kit project. The video tutorial is with this sports theme gift set kit. Go check it out today! http://splitcoaststampers.com/   Date Night Kit Tutorial

DigiStamp Boutique Fifi Princess

DigiStamp Boutique has the cutest girl images and most of them I can image all sitting or standing in a row as a big family. They are the best for use as a multiple image card, but sometimes these little gems can create a big impact and my project today will show you just what I mean. I made up some composition books for party favor bags to go to each girlfriend that came to my daughter's party this last weekend. (You'll notice that the notepads that are stacked haven't been decorated...I just couldn't wait to show you so I snapped a shot before I had them all finished.) Thanks for stopping by! Details: Notepad Size: 3 x 5 inches Stamps: Fifi Princess Paper: 99 cents glitter paper from Target, Neenah, Basic Black Ink: Laserjet, Prismacolor Markers (didn't get them written down) Accessories: Corner Chomper, organdy ribbon

Birthday Present from Chloe

Happy Monday everyone! Boy, do I have the cutest birthday girl to show you today! It is a digital stamp from ISS and not my DD even though we did have a birthday celebration this weekend. LOL We celebrated with my daughter's friends from preschool in princess fashion with Castle cake, Royal Play Dough, make your own RKT castles, and a Royal Court Coin Hunt...sadly though the castle bouncer house lay in our backyard deflated and covered the whole entire day because it was constantly raining. Such a bummer for the party attendants, but my children were able to squeeze in some time jumping in it before the rain came ....Okay that's enough of my weekend story. My card is using LAST Monday's InStyle Stamps Method Monday tutorial. I had it all ready to go and then my princess party became my focus for most of the week. Now, you need to go see Lana do these coordinated buttons like a real professional. Ready for another technique? I used a...

A Day in the Life by InStyle Stamps

Today is the InStyle Stamps Color Challenge and it is a serene and fun color challenge just look at the possibilities. I was truly trying not to use color as the inspiration photo from Decor8  has some very plain lines and little splashes of color, but I just got carried away with my markers. What can I say? I like to color and these Day in the Life images from InStyle Stamps are pretty amazing. So my card is two adorable friends that are shopping and chatting, you know just like friends should do when they shop, and then I believe as with all of us we have the moment when we realize what a good caring friend we have. I have quite a few of those and they often come to my mind. Okay here's my card. Now this is a monthly challenge over at the InStyle Stamps blog , so you know what that means...a challenge with a random drawing at the end. Get your project going and create something with us. Details: Card Size: 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches Stamps:   ISS Shopping Day , Verve On...

Martha and Marvin are happy as can be

I'm back with another image from DigiStamp Boutique's Offer of the Month and it's Martha and Marvin happy to be together. These monkeys continue to make me smile! Have you ever gone some place, say for dinner, and found exactly what you liked. Everytime you go back you want to order the same thing again? Well it's the same with me and the marker choices for these monkey's. LOL I tried to change up my colors, but I just kept gravitating back to the same colors from this card . It's their destiny in my crafting world. I told my hubby about the monkey's at the zoo from my daughter's Preschool field trip last week, who were crazy happy to just swing around on the ropes and then these DSB monkeys came to mind as having a monkey happy love! Ahhhhh..... I went over and checked out Sally-Ann's newest stamps at the Boutique and she has got some serious cuteness for new stamps. There is a chorus of frogs, Stu, darling Kira, a snoozing Spike and a nap...
