Stampendous Sticky FUN Blog Hop with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L

Hello and welcome to our last day of hopping with sticky fun from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. If you are just finding the blog hop here you might want to jump down below for the entire hop list, otherwise I'm so glad you've stopped by.

My project today is using a sweet Denim Cover journal, Pennant Set, small and regular 3D Foam Squares, and E-Z Runner permanent strips adhesives from Scrapbook Adhesives

The stamped and stenciled images are from Stampendous Sailboats Cling Rubber Stamp Set. wavy stencils

The free template inside the stamp set is this pretty wave pattern so I sponged white, then a mixture of blue periwinkle paint through it. This stencil has a repeating design so you are not limited to the height of the stencil, just align and stencil some more!

While that dried I sponged paint onto the canvas pennant, using leftover paint from the stenciling.

I pulled out a few pieces of muslim from my stash, it's a bit smoother than canvas, and stamped the sailboat and wave multiple times using my MISTI to get a dark image. I missed taking a photo of the coloring process, but I used a paintbrush and textile paints by Jaquard.

Once done and the paint had dried I glued down all the pieces onto the cover (I already adhered the pennant with E-Z Runner strips across the top of the pennant),

I added ribbon around the pennant securing it in place with E-Z Runner strips.

The finishing touches were cutting more muslin into strips and painting them with textile paint to add to the journal binder rings.

It was necessary to add a touch of bling with three small 3D Foam Squares, Lime Micro Glitter and China Blue Micro Glitter. Oh and that sweet sentiment is from Ocean Wisdom Perfectly Clear Stamp set.

Thank you for stopping by!

There are prizes for the hop and you can stop by the Stampendous or Scrapbook Adhesives blog post for details. Here is the hop list for today, enjoy!

Let's Celebrate Plain Jane Style!

There is an Anni-Verve-Sary party going on today! Verve Stamp Company is 2 years old! The hop started at Verve's blog , so come hop on board and see over 5 dozen projects that are sure to get your Verve on! I've been waiting for the right time to blog about this project and when the opportunity came to join in the anniversary blog hop for Verve I knew it was time. My blog hop project today uses all Plain Jane Bible verses from Verve. I saw this project at Susan Roberts gallery on Splitcoaststampers and went to her blog to get the details . I decided to make one for my mother as a Christmas present...in 2008. Yep, I just now finished it and I have the blog hop to thank. Using sketches would have made this a whole lot faster. LOL The two cards shown in the picture above use the latest Plain Jane release for Psalm 121:1-2 (hanging on box) and Hebrews 11:1 (in front of box). And I'll give the details below, but first here's a slide show of the whole year. Hebr...
