Hopping with the Linnie Blooms Team

Welcome to Stampendous big hop day with Linnie Blooms products. I had a wonderful time creating with these little canvas file folders and I think there are far too many ideas to stop at just this week with them.

There are 5 prize packages up for grabs and you can find the details on my post earlier this week for Linnie Blooms here or on the Stampendous blog. Comment for a chance to win!

I created a pop up canvas card! I primed the file folder with white gesso and once dry stamped a couple of time using the Stack Art Cling Rubber Stamps Regal Bird Kit - SAS02. The canvas file folder was stamped with distress ink with another stamp from the kit as well as background stamp from the same kit onto cardboard that was cut with the Pop Up Die Set. I stamped on the cardboard with a two step inking process (step one distress ink, step two sponge gesso on top) and then did a white embossed border on the top and bottom. The flowers are colored with Copics (RV000, RV10, RV32, and RV34). The sentiment preprinted and included in the Stack Art Kraftboard Regal Bird Kit - SAK02 along with the Kraftboard frame. I stitched the cardboard onto the canvas.

Thank you for stopping by to see my project! I hope you enjoy the rest of the hop today.

Let's Celebrate Plain Jane Style!

There is an Anni-Verve-Sary party going on today! Verve Stamp Company is 2 years old! The hop started at Verve's blog , so come hop on board and see over 5 dozen projects that are sure to get your Verve on! I've been waiting for the right time to blog about this project and when the opportunity came to join in the anniversary blog hop for Verve I knew it was time. My blog hop project today uses all Plain Jane Bible verses from Verve. I saw this project at Susan Roberts gallery on Splitcoaststampers and went to her blog to get the details . I decided to make one for my mother as a Christmas present...in 2008. Yep, I just now finished it and I have the blog hop to thank. Using sketches would have made this a whole lot faster. LOL The two cards shown in the picture above use the latest Plain Jane release for Psalm 121:1-2 (hanging on box) and Hebrews 11:1 (in front of box). And I'll give the details below, but first here's a slide show of the whole year. Hebr...
