Hooray! It's Friday! And it's a new Mix-Ability challenge on Splitcoaststampers ! Lots of exclamations so far in this post because it is a BIG deal! The sentiment is made with Lawn Fawn's Giant Hooray die on cardstock painted with metallic gold paint.  Pretty much a party on a card!  The other card is a lot of fun because I started with a printer printout background and added paint layers. Happy Friday, friends! I'm stopping in so randomly, but I want to share with you a fun technique and a challenge! I came across this mixed media technique called Leaf Stamp Art , go try it out! Hi friends! I was so fortunate to drop into my art studio and get some fun sentiment cards done. It just gives me warm fuzzies when I can do that. Today these cards are for the Splitcoaststampers challenge forum, Mix-Ability! I have three cards to share that came together rather quickly for two reasons. I have a pile of monoprints ready to use and three new die cuts that I was so happy to get at a local, walk-in-the-door craft store! I'm so glad they are still open! Lawn Fawn has quite a few "Giant" Lawn Cuts that make for a jiffy card session. I have Giant Sending Big Hugs, Giant Thank You, and Giant Happy Birthday. Each one of my cards attempts to create a vignette. Happy New Year, everyone! I've been working on projects around my house, still living in the same crazy boxed-up craft studio while a very long process of remodeling and moving rooms around our house.  Even though my situation is a little less than desired, I'm still happy to have what I have access to, and that ever so often I'm fortunate to be the hostess of the most fun challenge on Splitcoaststampers. Today I'll be sharing a photo tutorial of a new find on Youtube. I'll tell you the source in a bit, but here is my photo summary for papercrafters! If you’ve been getting notifications from me for a while you probably already know about it, but those new here should check out this stampers and makers community. Happy Friday, everyone! Today I'm popping in to share a project. A colorful and whimsical card for the Splitcoaststampers Mix-Ability challenge this week hosted by little ole me!  Our challenge is to use a type of fold or window, an opening of sorts, that we haven't tried before. Keeping with the guidelines of mixed-media, this challenge is pretty wide-open to try out!  The never tried portion of this card today was the interactive shutter inside the card. I'm sure I've made a gate-fold before, but it's still a rare fold for me. Check out the tutorial on Splitcoaststampers.
