See that up above? I made that all by mah'selfs. I created some graphics to do for a map making activity in my kids Caravan's class at church last night. They were still on my computer screen when I got home since I made them right before we left and so when I sat down I got an idea to use one of them again. I was smitten with the city street/scape that I made and so I colored it and decided to use it as my cover photo in Facebook. I might like to stop in sometime there and get a latte. Or maybe I'll add another building with a latte sign... if I have enough time. What's coming up?????? Late Thursday night  I'll be posting a journal page with the next Mix-Ability challenge! For a few weeks now, my son has been asking for a pinãta. It began sometime in May and it wasn't really a request, it was introduced as an idea. My son has a terrific mind full of things to make and we know it's share time when he starts out with, "Hey! I have a good idea!". So we've made a pinãta and it was a grand party in our backyard. (My mind is still on vacation... I took ALL of the photos with my Macro setting from the last card photo I took. I hope the photos don't make you dizzy!) Now, once we layered the paper-mâché on the balloon and hung it in the laundry room to dry, all of the sudden the good idea became a great idea. We could go and buy a "shaped" pinãta! I really do understand and agree, because a newspaper print balloon shape pinãta is not as much fun as a colorful tissue paper fringed shaped pinãta. What to do? Make it look like a shape. It's been a long time since I've posted a thing, hasn't it. My family and I sneaked away on a vacation a week after I did a whirlwind trip out to my nieces graduation. The month of June was pretty much spent outside of my house. I'm back and wanted to share a photo or two from my family trip AND to let you know I'll be back Saturday with a project for a Friends blog hop. There are 29 friends hopping and a total of 13 prizes!!!!! Get a cold beverage and hop along with us tomorrow. We're going to have a great time. Good Monday everyone! It's been a long time since I've sat down at my computer to type up a post, but I've remained super busy. We have 4 more days of school, two programs in one night in the same building (easy night) and a park and picnic day on the same day. That's my kids schedule and in addition I'm pulling together all the leftover supplies from the year of MOPS crafts and creating kits for anyone to buy at our meeting this week. So I'm working round and round to keep up. The event that I've been working on for the last two months was finally here this last weekend and it was wonderful. Since my blog is mainly about paper crafts I don't get to show much of my other kinds of creations, but I'll make an exception today and show the logo design and some of the event items. Happy Friday everyone!  I have been super busy with so many projects this week that I haven't finished a single card to show you all week. I apologize and I feel like I've neglected all my recent crafting purchases, so they are sad too. LOL Not to worry though because I'll be showing you all that I've been working on  because next week I'll be hanging out with the Verve Divas, again. Julee sent me a "Wanna Play" email and I was so excited I yelled for anyone in the house to hear, "oh YEAH! I'm gonna play! WHHHHEEEEEEEE!". Can I just say it is such a pleasure to be a guest with Verve and the Divas, a fantastic memory to cherish FOR SURE. I made a silly ordering mistake and ordered two of the same stamp sets and now my Followers reap the benefits! I ordered an extra Verve Snow Wonderful stamp set. I'm going to throw in a pack of "Holiday" patterned paper from Pressed Petal . It's wouldn't be right if there wasn't a little bling thrown in so there's some clear rhinestones (adhesive back) and black eyelets to round out this little mistake.
