Tis the Season...BLOG CANDY!

THIS POST WILL REMAIN AT THE TOP UNTIL TUESDAY, DECEMBER 15th. Scroll down for Club Anime posts.

It is certainly the holiday season. The schedule starts getting filled up and the next thing you know it's been over a week since you have posted anything! I hope you all have had an easy time preparing for the holidays and most importantly taking time to craft. LOL

I've been so busy that I haven't had time to post about a little mishap of mine. I made a silly ordering mistake and ordered two of the same stamp sets and now my Followers reap the benefits! I ordered an extra Verve Snow Wonderful stamp set. I'm going to throw in a pack of "Holiday" patterned paper from Pressed Petal . It's wouldn't be right if there wasn't a little bling thrown in so there's some clear rhinestones (adhesive back) and black eyelets to round out this little mistake. My way of saying thank you to all of you who encourage me to continue doing what I do.

The paper pack was a surprise set. My son was with me shopping and said, "I want that!". The sample images on the front weren't my style, but for the sale price it was worth it for my kids crafting stash. I was pleasantly surprised at what was inside when I opened mine, so we stopped off at the store the next day and bought another pack for this give-away. (Click on the image to see the pattern's better.)

How to play?
Just blog about it, or if you want put it in your sidebar whatever is easiest, just have a link back to this post. Make sure you're a Follower on my blog too! Come back and add your name to Mr. Linky. That's it!

I'll close Mr. Linky on Monday, December 14, 2009 by 5 p.m. Mountain Time (7 p.m. ET) and I'll announce the winner in a Tuesday post.

Welcome Second Annual Scrappy Bowl Party! Thanks so much for popping in to see my Scrappy project using some new Essentials by Stampendous! (That's just so the fragments don't soar off the page and to the floor.) Now for the Sc...

Let's Celebrate Plain Jane Style!

There is an Anni-Verve-Sary party going on today! Verve Stamp Company is 2 years old! The hop started at Verve's blog , so come hop on board and see over 5 dozen projects that are sure to get your Verve on! I've been waiting for the right time to blog about this project and when the opportunity came to join in the anniversary blog hop for Verve I knew it was time. My blog hop project today uses all Plain Jane Bible verses from Verve. I saw this project at Susan Roberts gallery on Splitcoaststampers and went to her blog to get the details . I decided to make one for my mother as a Christmas present...in 2008. Yep, I just now finished it and I have the blog hop to thank. Using sketches would have made this a whole lot faster. LOL The two cards shown in the picture above use the latest Plain Jane release for Psalm 121:1-2 (hanging on box) and Hebrews 11:1 (in front of box). And I'll give the details below, but first here's a slide show of the whole year. Hebr...
