Wish Upon A Star

Happy Sunday, everyone! I’m posting a super humorous card today with stamps from Technique Junkies! Now there are some pretty great stamps that came out this month that go with the character stamp I used so you’ll want to shop to see them as well.

You can always save on your purchase at Technique Junkies with code TJ10Janelle.
Add it at checkout for 10% off.

Supplies: I provide some product links that are through my Amazon Affiliate, and that means when clicked and purchased in the same session a few pennies are sent my way at no cost to you.

Featured Product(s):
Plus:
  • Sketch Markers by Copic (SBP)
  • Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad (AZ
  • Distress Inks ( Twisted Citron, Forest Moss, Dusty Concord, and Faded Jeans)
  • Bright White Cardstock by Neenah (AZ)
  • Kraft Cardstock by Recollections (AZ)
  • Deckle Scissors (AZ)
  • Mono Liquid Glue by Tombow (AZ)
  • Foam Tape by Tombow (AZ)
  • Sponge or Mini Ink Blending Tool (AZ)
  • MEDIA Fluid Acrylic Paint by DecoArt (Amazon link) - Titanium White
Instructions:
  1. Stamp Happy Housewife with black ink safe for markers on white cardstock and color. Trim around the image.
  2. Make a grass horizon mask with deckle scissors, if desired and place on white cardstock. With blending tool or sponge start at top of the sky with Faded Jeans and move down to Dusty Concord.
  3. Switch to other mask and blend grass with Twisted Citron ending at the bottom of cardstock with Forest Moss ink.
  4. Dab Titanium white paint around top and smear one dot for a falling star. I used the tip of a paintbrush handle and small stylus to make dots.
  5. Glue background to kraft cardstock and then add Happy Housewife to the card with foam tape.

  1. Love this cute card. I actually wish I could find someone to do a roller set on my hair.
