A 3-D WindowRama View


Hello! Today let's take a look into a new product out from Stampendous that is simply fantastic for a gift in a card that's easy to mail!


The new WindowRama Die Set is so easy to put together, take a look at the video from Stampendous for ideas! Then check out how I created my WindowRama project below plus other projects from the team this week!

  • Color Cardstock by My Mind's Eye (company website) - Limelight, Coral Rose, Yellow Corn, Sky, Lilac Mist 
  • Sketch Markers by Copic (SBP) - 0, G40, B60, BV20, E30, E50, E55, E57, G43, R21, R30, R32, RV91, T4, V12, V15
  • Zip-Dry Paper Glue by Beacon Adhesives (AZ)
  • Scissors (AZ)
Instructions:
  1. Stamp Birthday kid and balloons on Mixed Media White Paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and color.
  2. Trim out birthday kid and balloons.
  3. Die cut Sky cardstock with WindowRama rectangle die, score at 1-inch from both edges.
  4. Die cut Yellow Corn cardstock with WindowRama rectangle and square window die. Set aside.
  5. Die cut Limelight cardstock with WindowRama rectangle die, then with the smooth hill die from Meadows Edge die set 1-1/4 inch from bottom edge. Fold at the 1-inch score on each side and trim off 1/4-inch off the edge. Glue to inside of Sky rectangle.
  6. Glue birthday kid to the right side of the grass.
  7. Die cut 6-1/4 x 2 inches Coral, Melon and white cardstock with WindowRama rectangle die. Align the smooth hill die and the grass die next to each other and tape together to die cut along each color cardstock. Cut along grass edge to free fringe. Use score lines to fold and glue to the inside of Sky rectangle.
  8. On 1-1/2 square inch piece of Mixed Media White Cardstock stamp sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
  9. Use smooth and grass hill dies one more time with Lilac Mist cardstock and trim to free fringe.
  10. Glue two strips to top of sentiment and trim away any exposed white cardstock above fringe. 
  11. Glue to yellow WindowRama rectangle on the bottom left. Glue the trio balloons to top right and left corners.
  12. Glue single balloon behind birthday kid hands and onto front fringe garland.
