Parisian Fun with Stampendous

It's Wednesday, and I hope this post finds you ready for not a card, but a very rare journal page from me. Yep, when I sat down to play with these really cool new Paris stamps and die sets, they just screamed to be put on a journal page.

I've never been to France, I've watched Le Tour de France many many times though! lol It would be amazing I'm sure to see the Eiffel Tower in person!

So here are some close-ups of my page. Supplies and instructions are at the bottom of the post if you're interested.

The banner is designed to taper around the tower, but I loved how it looked like a corner frame for my quote.

And here is a closeup of the treeline as the backdrop to the tower. My eyes are what they used to be even with strong reading glasses on so a few spots of color was just what distant trees needed.

Fireworks framing the tower and a balloon finish the scene.

And here's the quote. I'm still a work in progress with where to put words when mixing up the letter styles, but it's progress!

"When you meet someone so different from yourself,
in a good way,
you don't even have to kiss to have fireworks go off."
Lisa Schroeder, author of "I Heart You, You Haunt Me."

The sets from Stampendous happen to be the theme for this week on the Stampendous blog, please run over there to get some amazing ideas with these products. They are spectacular!

Supplies: I provide some product links that are through my Amazon Affiliate, and that means when clicked and purchased in the same session a few pennies are sent my way at no cost to you.
