Stampendous January Sneak Peeks!

Christmas is behind us, and we all had a relaxing day but for me, it's time to get into the new year spirit, and that means NEW cool products from Stampendous.

Stampendous has a fantastic new release coming up soon, keep an eye out for them in the What's New section of their website, but since we can't wait for them to release we have some fun sneak peeks until they do.

So some exciting new backgrounds are heading to stores near you! My Fresh Peony card uses this beautiful collage stamp called Blossom Scroll and it's scrumptious! Stampendous also offers a clear acrylic stamp handle that's just the right size for these new 6-inch square stamps.

Here is a few sneak peeks you'll want to stop by and see this week and make sure to stop by the Stampendous blog each.

I'll be back on Friday with another sneak peek, see you then!

Here's how I made it!

Supplies:

Stampendous:
  • CRS5103 Cling Fresh Peony Stamp Set (AZ, STM)
  • DCS5103 Fresh Peony Die Set (AZ, STM)
  • 6CR003 Cling Blossom Scroll (AZ, STM)
  • Memento Tuxedo Black Ink by Tsukineko (AZ, STM)
  • Mixed Media White Paper (AZ, STM)
  • SSH66 6 x 6 Clear Acrylic Handle (AZ, STM)

Plus:
Instructions:
  1. Stamp Cling Blossom Scroll with black ink onto Mixed Media White Paper. Add Gelatos to flower petals and with slightly wet paintbrush spread on flowers. Repeat with leaves and background, let dry before trimming to 4 x 5-1/4 inches.
  2. Tie a bow around background and glue to folded 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 inch card base.
  3. Stamp Fresh Peony with black ink onto Mixed Media White Paper and color with Gelatos same as the background. Die cut flower and glue onto card base over the ribbon.
  4. Die cut Mixed Media White Paper with oval stitched die and stamp sentiment. Repeat with the larger oval die cut and glue sentiment onto before adhering to card base tucked in around the bow.

This blog post contains goodies I received for free from some of my favorite crafting companies. I blog about things I love to make, and the comments I use are honest and my opinion.

  5. Janelle, I absolutely ADORE this card. The background looks so delicious and lush. You coloured it all beautifully. I've been totally drooling over it. No hints or anything, but my birthday is end of August... Lol :). Happy New Year lovely girl! Big hugs, Asia X
