Hopping Along with Stampendous and Eileen Hull Inspiration Team

Welcome to an exciting and FUN project with me during a hop with the Stampendous and Eileen Hull design teams! The hop list is at the bottom of my post if you just found out and want to know more.

This whole week we are hopping with exciting new clear stamps and dies sets as well as the heavy hitter Scoreboard dies from Sizzix designed by Eileen Hull.

There will be prizes! Three commenters will have the chance to win a prize package that includes their choice of the Stampendous Cottage Home or Mushroom Home Perfectly Clear Stamps and Dies Set PLUS pre-cut Sizzix matboard from Eileen Hull's Vintage Canister Die Set. Details are on the Stampendous blog today.

I always forget how much fun 3-D projects are to do. I also appreciate the products that help make the process SO EASY!

Backstory - I was SO excited about our hop with Eileen Hull and her new design team from The Artist Trading Block Blog Hop that I sought out the box dies. So today my project uses the Sizzix ScoreBoards XL Die - Box, Square by Eileen Hull that measures about 3 1/4 inches as well as the largest box in the Sizzix ScoreBoards XL Die - Blocks/Cubes, 3-D by Eileen Hull that measures 2 1/2 inches square.

I stamped the door and windows from Cottage Home Perfectly Clear Stamps and Dies Set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink careful of the direction the two pieces would be glued together and yes, I did need to quickly separate them to glue it on so the door and the back window were in the same direction.

I stamped the back door from the Mushroom Home Perfectly Clear Stamps and Dies Set and then I masked them with my favorite new tool, Molotow Grafx Masking Fluid Pen.

As you can see the roof is a bit thatched looking and that is a mix of Ochre and Caramel Color Fragments.

Some of the details are a rose vine around the front door and extra flowers in a few window planters and beside the back door. The steps on both doors are popped up with foam tape.

The two roof pieces I did myself with the help of my mathematician husband and lots of copy paper prototypes and hours to get the design right. Boy, do I ever appreciate when there is a die that does this for me (wink, wink - Eileen Hull)

Your next stop is to Kristine Reynolds' blog. For all the details of our hop today take some time to hop through it all!
