It's In the Bag with Canvas Corp

Thanks for stopping by my blog today! I've got a fun project to share today and it was so easy to make because I didn't have to pull out my sewing machine!

I'm joined by my team mates at Stampendous this week to share a project using the Canvas Corp Canvas Shoulder Bag and I'm pretty sure you'll want to find out all the different ways the team members decided to create with them.

We have prizes! Comment throughout the week on the designer blogs and over on the Stampendous blog for a chance to win one of THREE prize packages. See the Stampendous Official Rules page for details and the deadline to comment is Sunday November 15th.

All my Australian fans out there have a chance to win a prize, too! Be sure to tell us where you live when commenting to be eligible to win a prize from The Stencil Specialist.

Here's what I did with my canvas bag!

I was stumped on what to do with a canvas bag. Really all I ever do is paper crafting these days, so when our bag came in the mail I was a bit worried. I checked out what most people do with canvas products and decided I was only going to freak out more over it. LOL

So I took a deep breath and started testing out what to do and even found some iron-on transfer paper in my stash that I was going to use, but then I thought I should just go ahead and stamp right on the bag... so I did! I'm really glad I did!

I used Jaquard Dyna Flow inks that are just like painting with dyes, but they are paints that act like watercolor. Once dry they are there to stay so all I had to do was play with the shading right while I put down the color.

Thanks for stopping by! Head on over to the other blogs today for inspiration!
