Stampendous and Glue Dots Blog Hop

It's the BIG hop day to finish off our week of inspiration with Stampendous and Glue Dots®. I'm thankful to them for providing me with three different dispensers of Glue Dots for use in the hop. I even ventured to my local craft supply store to get my hands on a couple more styles for my project today!

There are prizes up for grabs! Three commenters win the prize package shown above in the picture. Three awesome Glue Dots® dispensers, Stampendous Create Christmas Stamps Set and matching dies PLUS the Christmas Micro Glitter Set (OH why didn't I think to use that kit for my project today!) Details and deadlines for the prizes can be found on the Stampendous blog today.

Here's my project all stuck together with DOTS!

There are embellishment DOTS scattered around the monoprint paper and...

I made DOTS into a glittery flower! Check out how I pulled this card together...

Pop Dots by Glue Dots®
Lace ribbon by May Arts

Instructions:

  1. Fold colored cardstock in half for a finished size of 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches. Set aside.
  2. Use the smallest rectangle in the Creative Palette Rectangles set. Brayer and print each color in order of Raw Sienna, Burnt Sienna and Poppy. Let dry and cut down to fit on card base.
  3. Stamp Quill and Spotted Feather onto monoprint with black ink.
  4. Use Micro Dots to adhere monoprint onto trimmed white cardstock.
  5. Adhere lace ribbon onto monoprint with Craft Dots on the back edge of paper.
  6. Use Mini Dots to adhere monoprint to card base.
  7. Stamp Penned Thank You onto trimmed white cardstock. Use Micro Dots to adhere to trimmed color cardstock and again adhere onto card base over lace ribbon.
  8. Place Pop Dots on a 1 inch circle of scrap white paper starting around the outward edge and again inside the circle overlapping  the first round of Pop Dots. Take one slightly rolled Pop Dots and add to center.
  9. Lightly sprinkle and rub Pop Dots with pink, red, orange and gold Micro Glitter. Repeat and press into dots until coverage is desired.
  10. Use a Craft Dots to adhere to card base by sentiment.
  11. Add random Micro Dots on card base. Sprinkle with different Micro Glitter and rub in and tap off excess.

The best for last is the rest of the hop! Have fun and be inspired!
