There are some mischievous mice running loose this week somewhere between the Stampendous store and our blogs so be on the look out for summer frolic of the small furry kind.
My card today has House-Mouse Amanda quenching her thirst around the drinking hole with her feathered friends. I colored this delicate lavender framed feeder with my Copic Markers, did a little tone on tone for the background so that I wouldn't have to worry about making the sky smooth.
What I did for the sky is, I went over the background with my lightest color in the family, then went back over it and colored in a watercolor way, splotchy, with another layer of the same color marker then as I moved closer to the feeder the saturation number (second number in the marker system) went up on the next marker I used.
You can see more about the supplies I used to create this card with instructions on the Stampendous blog here...House-Mouse® Lavender Birdfeeder by Janelle Stollfus
Before you hop on over for the deets of my card please stop by to see what mischief is happening in the Stampendous blogsphere. There really has been a lot of ruckus going on..
