Verve September Spotlights Begins Today

Welcome to our September 2013 Spotlight Hops!  I'm so excited for this week of spotlights to begin and I'm even more so to share some new Verve with you! The Divas are shining their Verve spotlights ALL WEEK long on a different set each day! Every new Verve morsel will be available in the Verve online store on Friday, 9/27. Today's peek are for the Each Day Set and Psalm 94:18 Plain Jane.

Our hop list can be found below my sneak peek, but to make sure you're in the right spot Marisa's blog was your last hop.

I LOVE the Each Day set! The fonts are amazing and fun on all the sentiments and there is even iconic Verve images that complete this set out wonderfully. Here's the quick on my card today.

I took the Viva La Verve sketch from September week 4, hosted by Charmaine Ikach, and began layering some pattern paper from Prairie Chic Collection to an Olive cardstock, sewing around each panel. The edges were sponged with Brushed Corduroy ink for some distressing. I worked on the bow as in the sketch, but my bow wasn't playing nice so I used it to my advantage and nestled it in with two Sweet Scallop Tag dies for an inspirational sentiment from the Each Day stamp set. A little more sponge distressing on the tags, too. To make this card polished and glisten I glued some new sequins (squeee!) in random spots. Yes I did say new and that is fantastic fun sequins coming on Friday...
