Stencils, Stamps and Paste Oh My! It's a blog hop of fun

It's the grand hop day for our week long collaboration with Dreamweaver's and I'm sure there are quite a few wishlists scribbled out there in craft spaces worldwide. I definitely hope so!

If you've been hopping with us already then you have just come from Jamie Martin's blog. Of course if you are just stepping in on the hop you can get all the fun and prize worthy details on the company sponsor pages. They will also have the full link lists to get you started.

Yes I did say prize and in fact, it is prizeS! Two prize packages will be given away for the comments left on posts Monday-Thursday, July 29th - August 1st, and one prize will be given away for comments left on the hop day, Friday, August 2nd. Winners will be selected randomly and announced Thursday, August 8th. (Note: USA addresses only, please, due to shipping costs.) Just take the company links above to be sure and get all the details and links.

Here's my creation for today.

Today I decided to let the art supplies flow and get into all the fun that Stampendous and Dreamweaver products can create. I started with the Jumbo Butterfly stamp in Jet Black ink and placed the Mosaic Swirls over the top and gently sponged Ranger Distress Inks around the butterfly. I sponged the Summer Stencil on with black ink and then stamped two more butterflies on from the Butterfly Charms set.

Then it was time to Fran•táge with the Encrusted Jewel Technique. I used the chunky Aged Bronze Embossing Enamel to hold onto the delicate Iced Blue Micro Glitter around two corners of the collage panel. I spent a small amount of time sponging some more for shadow and then added some Teal Color Fragments and Chunky Black Embossing Enamel around the image... a la Encrusted Jewel Technique.

Let's get to some more inspiration with the fabulous Jennifer Dove Bonner!

Details:
Stamps: Cling Jumbo Butterfly Trio (Stampendous), Butterfly Charms (Stampendous)
Paper: white (Wausasu), BlueGreen (Wausau)
Ink: Jet Black (Archival, Ranger), Faded Blue Jeans, Peacock, Persimmon, Brushed Corduroy (Ranger Distress Ink)
