It's time for a hostess spot with Viva La Verve and I've got a fun one to try out! Head on over the VLV forum to get details on this months challenges and the way to get shiny new Verve!
Here's the sketch: Coming up short on a card fold can be so frustrating, but this sketch is made for those shortcomings. It's optional and just for fun, so you can create using the gray area as a part of the inside of the card showing or just add it as another element in the front of the card.
I've taken the color combo from the new Mixed Media Color Challenge #3 to use light blue, teal and a neutral as the MAIN colors.
Stamps: With Love (Verve Stamps)
Paper: Blue and teal (Wausau), kraft (HL), white (Mohawk)
Ink: Crumb Cake and Sahara Sand (Stampin' Up)
Accessories: Flourished Trim Die, Banner Bundle Die, Flag It Die and Vintage Oval Die (A Cut Above, Verve Stamps), Creme Brulee ribbon (Signature Ribbon Set, Verve Stamps), twine, honeycomb embossing folders (Cuttlebug), Light Blue, Vividio and Warm Gray acrylic paint, golden brown encaustic wax (Hot Cakes, Enkaustikos)
This is fabulous! Great colors, very trendy shapes and textures, and very cool sketch and ribbon. Wonderful work!
