Summer Splendor
It's a great time to link up your summery projects to the Stampendous Challenge this month! Design team, Pam posted a sweet little summer girl card on Monday for some teacher gift inspiration. Go check her's out after you gander on my Dafodil Girl card. Cuz we like a little comment love to go out to the team, too!
Now play along with us if you can, there's a prize and a chance to get entered twice for one project if you use Stampendous!!!!!!! Just drop your link at the end of this post (or on Stampendous blog to see the prize) no later than Thursday, June 28 at 11:59 PM EST.
I stamped with Tuxedo Black and colored Dafodil Girl with my Copic markers, because summer also means coloring~right! Then I added the sentiment from Friendly Phrases. Then the magic happen. Every time I get out the Silver Halo Glitter Mix it looks exactly like the special effects of magic on television. So cool. It's my favorite and I haven't used it since this card where I attached it to clear acetate with glue. Today's card I used the Stamp and Bond from Stampendous. Just as slick, but you don't have to wait for the glue to dry! Make a note that I stamped off the page! If I had not done that I would need to figure out what to do with all the space under her legs. Keep that in mind the next time you stamp. I'm so glad I did that.
I haven't shared in a long time what Copic's I used for my color selection, so here it is. R's and RV's are her dress colors (And some BV shading). YR0000 and E50's are her skin and I think you can figure out the rest. I'm so lazy, aren't I?
