Clearly We can Create with Stampendous, ClearScraps and Tsukineko


Today is a fantastic blog hop day collaboration with ClearScraps and Tsukineko! I'm sure you have already been inspired throughout this week but I'm so glad that we are all together today. I love a good hop, don't you?

I started out with a bunch of inspiration from our talented Stampendous designers who are always on the ball with their projects. Thank you talented best designer friends! My original idea was for a scrapbook with a few adorable photos of my kids, but then my scrapbook turned a sort of Smash Book. I decided though that I have spaces for the photographs and they can be added at any time.

This Mixable Sassy Album consists of three acrylic sheets separated by two chipboards. They are the coolest shapes and I really wanted to show off the peek-a-boo effect. So here goes.

A three pocket page for photos and journaling.

Vintage Lilac Tinsel Embossing Powder

Create a see through thought or quote.
Even add a photo...

because the Jumbo Dogwood was stamped on the clear page!


Basic pages... but eveyone needs a place to just write.

    I love the use of colored ink on the acrylic. It really brings a depth to the stamped image. Thanks for the inspiration.

    Beautiful Album, Janelle! Wow...you've got a lot going on there, have to study it in closer detail. Love your SMASH book concept here! Might be fun to hand it to one of the kids and see what they smash into it! Great Job with the challenge.

Let's Celebrate Plain Jane Style!

There is an Anni-Verve-Sary party going on today! Verve Stamp Company is 2 years old! The hop started at Verve's blog , so come hop on board and see over 5 dozen projects that are sure to get your Verve on! I've been waiting for the right time to blog about this project and when the opportunity came to join in the anniversary blog hop for Verve I knew it was time. My blog hop project today uses all Plain Jane Bible verses from Verve. I saw this project at Susan Roberts gallery on Splitcoaststampers and went to her blog to get the details . I decided to make one for my mother as a Christmas present...in 2008. Yep, I just now finished it and I have the blog hop to thank. Using sketches would have made this a whole lot faster.
