Bird Cage Pocket Journal ~ Stampendous-ClearScraps-Tsukineko

Today I'm hopping around with some fabulous designers from TWO teams. We have these fabulous Clear Acrylic projects that are sure to get some creative ideas flowing. Yep. We have put together quite a wonderful little hop this WHOLE WEEK replete with prizes. Oh yes, I did say replete! If you are in the know about this hop then you have come from the ClearScraps blog.

Before I go into my project I want to tell you all the details.

So the details on the prize package and a glimpse of the goodies in a photo are HERE! (The short of it, hang with us all week and comment on each blog.)
If you are starting up on my blog you'll want to go HERE for today's full list of blog hops. (I'll give you the next hop at the end of my post.)
I must thank the wonderful companies who provided supplies for this week's collaboration. It has been so much fun to design with them.

Are you ready?
So here's my project. I had full intentions of creating the whole card in the kit, but I was so intrigued by the possibility of layering on both sides of the clear sheet that I had too much fun with just one piece. When I stepped back and looked at it, I really wanted it to be a small pocket journal so I could carry it around with me... ta-da!

I've used the two smaller acrylic pieces of the Belgrave Sent it Clear Card.

My mixed media self emerged and I used Stampendous Vintage Birdcage, Vintage Frames, Steampunk Gears and  Cling Felinus. All of which were stamped in one of the StazOn inks: Jet Black, Saddle Brown, Metallic Silver, and Forest Green. I crumbled up some Taupe Color Fragments around the bottom of the birdcage because every bird likes to spread a little bedding around before they nest. : )

That is all from me today. Come back to the hop tomorrow at the Stampendous blog (I'll be posting again on Saturday).

Ready for the next creative idea?!?!?! Take a hop to ClearScraps designer Cristal.
