New Verve is in the Shop!

While you're enjoying your morning, all the Divas are going to invite you to join along in a release hop with all the new Verve we sneak peeked this week. You're going to love getting your hands on these new goodies, you  know how we love the smell of new Verve! Verve's new Unto Us Set has this beautiful snowflake. It's dreamy! I stamped it for another project and then I needed to stamp it some more and this is what I made with those fun little flakes. It has a coordinating die in the Reindeer Fun Die Set . That just made it even better for a quick and wintry card. It took me a matter of minutes to make this card and I'm thinking it's going to be this year's holiday card! The sentiment was stamped on cardstock cut out with a Banner Bundle die  and framed with more snowflakes in Garden Green. I did a straight stitch border to lighten up the background and in two corners I hit the reverse stitch button a few times just for fun. The scrumptious...

Verve Stamps October Spotlight Day 3

It's Day 3, yay! We are spotlighting Verve's  Unto Us Stamp Set and Reindeer Fun Die Set .  This release is packing some amazing sentiments. AMAZING! We say that every release, I know, but it's incredible what Julee can do with fonts! Today I am showing you how spectacular the use of chevrons and a favorite Verve frame (with coordinating die) can steal the show on a card. I started with this combo and decided I couldn't get any better design than to add some pattern paper and bow. Love how easy and elegant Verve can make a card look. Here's the whole hop list for today but your next stop is with Andrea ! 1.  Julee 8.  Amber 2  Jen 9.  Janelle 3.  Marisa 10.  Andrea 4.  Teresa 11.  Laurie W. 5.  Charmaine 12.  Maureen 6.  Christyne 13.  Verve Blog 7.  Stacey  {Guest} Want to win some shiny new Verve?   We'll be picking a random commenter on one of the hop spots below to win t...

A Brewing for Halloween

This week the Stampendous team is showing the Witches Brew and more products in the July 2013 catalog . As I'm not big on halloween I did have some fun creating bits and pieces of a frightful party night. This is how the story of my projects go... It's only fitting that we make a formal invitation to join us in the event with a hauntingly easy invitation. Leave it on your bedside to remind you to come. It starts at half past a candelabra  under a haunting  witch's silhouette .  Best be prepared for your quick change to night with a DIY glitter nail.  Ingredients: Nail tips (preferably fake) Sticky Panels DS Adhesive Sheets Purple Micro Glitter Orange Micro Glitter Clear Nail polish Craft mat Apply adhesive sheets cut down to the right size of the nail. Dip the nail end into Orange Micro Glitter and press against the glitter. Lift and tap off excess. (If it looks transparent repeat.) Turn it around and dip the nail into Purple ...

Verve Stamps October 2013 Spotlight Day 2

It's Day 2 of Verve sneak peeks and the Diva's are shining our spotlights on the Holiday Treats Set and Cup of Cheer Die Set today. They have been a delight to use. I have been stamping all these fun images all over everything around my workspace and they just work with anything I put them next to, just like my finished sample for our sneak peek today. The tag stamp, sentiment, stars and snowflake (swooning) are all from the new Holiday Treats set and I was able to grab Verve's Tagged Rectangle Die and Winter Fun Die Set  to cut out the tag and stars. While the Winter Fun die set was out I thought it would be fun to have some trees to frame my tag. Love those whimsical ideas that come together. Verve makes that happen more often with just the right coordinating of dies and stamps. It did help a little that my pattern paper had trees, too. :) 1.  Julee 8.  Amber 2  Jen 9.  Janelle 3.  Marisa 10.  Andrea 4.  Teresa 11....
