A Stampendous Haunted Week and Spooky Month

Happy {haunted} Monday! 

Oh boy, are you in for a surprise. I worked up a great little "bendy card" for two very fun reasons. This week at Stampendous is a fun little theme, "You GOT it? FLAUNT it!!" Sooooo, I thought I better get a little spooky and haunt my blog today.

The second reason is also a fun challenge that Stampendous is also a participant in and the design team took the challenge to create a NEW project every day and link it up to the Stampendous blog.

So with my best creepy and spooky self, I created a haunted forest.

And a creeky and spooky house.

With a cursed black cat crossing the road.

Windy road to a haunt on a hill.

A haunted house on a hill with a petty graveyard for a view, just to say "Have a Spooktacular Halloween"

Click on any photo to enlarge it, and my camera was on a tripod so I only angled my shots in one direction when taking the close up, so I'm sorry if it makes you feel like your sliding off a hill. lol I guess it might just be you are!

Instructions:

1. Cut two pieces of cardstock 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches, then cut one piece at 2 1/2 inches so there is 2 1/2  x 5 1/2 inch and 1 3/4 x 5 inch flap pieces.
2. Score the two flap pieces along the short edge in 1/4 - 1/2 inches to use as the edge to glue onto the card base.. On the opposite end create a tab, this example has them 1/4 inch deep and about 1/2 to 1 inch wide. Free-hand cut curves on the long edge for hills.
3. Die cut grass on skinny pieces of green cardstock. Cut slits across the bottom and glue to the back side of the curve side of the flaps.
4. Cut two pieces of gray paper the same length as the flaps and cut into curves, one at a time, by first sketching lines in pencil. Color top edges with gray markers and blender pen.
5. Add more grass panels where needed and set flaps aside.
6. Dab a corner of sponge with Frost White and rub on craft mat to soften on sponge, then in a circular motion rub onto top half of 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 inch card base.
7. Using the Picasso as a shield sponge cloud tops with Iris ink on a corner of sponge and premixing into the sponge onto craft mat or plastic plate. Go back over some areas with Royal Blue ink.
8. Cut green cardstock the size of card base and trim long side into a curve for house hill, glue to card base.
9. Stamp all images except cat from the Spooky House Perfectly Clear Stamp set in black ink and color.
10. Cut out all pieces with scissors and/or craft knife.
11. Begin adhering pieces where desired.
12. Stamp graveyard, moon and sentiment with black ink onto card base.
13. Stamp cat with watermark ink and emboss with Hematite PearLustre Embossing Powder, cut out and use black Foam Square to pop up on road.
14. Adhere ghost onto a piece of clear plastic packaging and then onto flap (as shown).

You can search online for photo and video instructions to make a basic bendy (bendi) card, that is where I started.
