Hello, happy Monday and welcome to the first day of a great blog hop this week with Stampendous and Tando Creative!
The Stampendous design team received tons of fabulous chipboard pieces to use in the July catalog AND for this week's blog hop so we have lots of great new product to share with you!
There are hop prizes! You can get all the great information about the prizes for this hop on the Stampendous blog today, but the short information on it is all you have to do is comment and tell us where you live, the more you comment the more entries you are submitting!
My project today is a sweet little Mini Theatre Stage Tall 1 chipboard product with a whole bunch of Pink Your Life stamps and Deco Art Media Fluid paint.
I absolutely love the combination of the sweet chipboard stage and the Pink Your Life images. I hope you might find parts of this piece interesting, so here are a few highlights.
I used 3D Foam Squares to pop out the house sign and lower window, plus my Whisper Friend.
This Whisper Friend has about 4 layers of paint on her face, lol. I just couldn't seem to get the shadow colors right so I quit while I was somewhat ahead.
To add a bit of whimsy to the piece I partially hand stamped (no acrylic block) text onto a few layers.
Before I give you my instructions, here are today's hop list.

- Gesso the front and back chipboard pieces of the stage and paint with 1:1 Raw Umber and Titanium White.
- Stamp bubbles on front by sponging Raw Umber onto stamp and carefully pressing onto paint front and back chipboard pieces.
- Sandwich painted pieces with stage chipboard.
- Work from the back forward gluing painted pieces to stage frames.
