It's time for a little hoppin' and having fun! The Stampendous team is back for a second round of posts to share our creativity and also our flat out fun creating with these Clear Scraps products. A big thank you for the generous products they sent us to play with this week (there's even more to play with later on this year, too!)
There are prizes! Just head on over to the Stampendous blog (see below) today to see the details. The short of it, comment on our blogs - those playing this week in the collaboration - and then wait until next week to find out if you won some of the same goodies we have shared with you this week!
Now here's the fantastic line up for today, and it looks like you are halfway through the list now that you are here!

Okay, I really wanted to see what I could do with a 8 x 8 inch album they sent me and the cover took off in a whole different direction. I guess I was impressed with how well the paint, stenciling paste, ink, well just about anything I tried, looked on this clear canvas. I'm calling it a mixed media clear canvas. The Look was stamped on one side, made opaque on the back side with white paint and a high density sponge. The template that is included in the packaging was used to mask the face when Penned Friend was stamped off with paint. The last step was sponging black onto the back of the pennant so it had a smoky look to it.
As you can see from the photo above there is a lot of fun layering for the base canvas. Let's just say it started with a monoprinting session directly added to the acrylic canvas and left to dry before adding layers and layers of stamping on both sides of the clear acrylic album.
It ended with some stenciling with Translucent Embossing Paste and after removing the stencil carefully sprinkling Gold Micro Glitter over it and tapping off the excess
Oh and I added some lipstick to "Look" so she wouldn't look so pale.
This project was a play in techniques and I a lot of fun with it.
