Welcome to Thursday's hop with Add a Little Dazzle Craft Metal Sheets alongside Stampendous Stamps and Essentials!
I'm so glad you dropped in today whether you knew about the collaboration or not. The great news is that either way you came here there is a chance at some fabulous prizes!
The team over at Add a Little Dazzle has created a special featuring the metals from this blog hop for those of you who have already realized you're going to need these products. You can find it here - Add A Little Dazzle Stampendous Hop Special. Of course you might win some, too! We're giving away three prize packages this week for comments on the blogs. A nice package of Metal Sheets, Stamps and Cutting Dies! You can also increase your inspiration board while you increase your chances of trying out these products for free by also commenting on the other days. Take these links for more hop lists MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY.
Are you ready for my project?
A simple little notepad transformed into a purse book ready for those times when you need to hand a quick note, address or just to keep the kids busy while you are chatting with someone at the store.
Grab a small notebook or pad of paper and begin to change the front in minutes! I used Sticky Panels to adhere the metal craft sheet to the front and back of the book then trimmed away extra material around the edges. Next is the embossing. Use an embossing pouch to prepare the surface and then stamp with embossing ink. Sprinkle embossing powder over it, tapping off excess and then heat set the powder. Clean off any dust from the embossing pouch and your all done. Oh, add a closure with a button and some burlap twine.
Product details are at the bottom of my post because I'm sure you'll want to move forward on to more fun projects.
