Welcome to the final day of the July Verve Spotlight Week! Release day is finally here! I hope you've enjoyed our sneak peeks and given you some fresh inspiration to crafty by. Everything you have seen this week is available for purchase in the Verve shop!
Kay was before me today if you have been jumping along in the hop. If you just found out about it then you can start at the beginning of the list (below) for the full inspiration line-up.
My card today is using the new Plain Jane, 2 Corinthians 12:9 stamped over a splash of mixed acrylic paints that made a blue-gray. The butterfly from Happy Place is stamped on white cardstock and colored with Copic markers and then for some pop of color I smeared water-soluble oil pastels over the wings (MIX76: Finger Painting). The border is from the Scalloped Trim Trio Die Set and I used two color cardstock and popped out the yellow border from the die and place the teal one inside with the yellow dots still in the die. to get them all out I place a piece of tape across the back and rubbed it on real well. The rest of the tape is used to adhere it to the back of the sentiment panel. I saw this somewhere, probably a fellow Diva, a while ago and I thought it was brilliant. The leftover teal dots were randomly added to get a good flow to the card.
Now it's time to head on over to Charmaine's blog! Thank you for all your kind comments this week and good luck!
