Valentine's Countdown and a Sale

Here's another sweet card that's part of the Valentine's class I'll be teaching next week at Inspiration-Boutique.

It's the best of Verve's coordinating Plain Jane stamps and A Cut Above dies. I think I really like this one.

Julee always has a sweet special at the store. It's time to go check the discounts and find something to give yourself for Valentine's Day, right?!?!?!?!

Singing a Song today!

I've got another sneak peek from Stampendous. Squeeee! This little bird is gliding on notes today for my sneak peek. Minuet Bird is a elegant collage of images and it's so easy to pull a card together using it.

This bird isn't sneakin' all by itself. There is the delicate scroll stamp called Scrolled Blossoms peeking out from behind the skewed layer who wants to be seen. And there are even new products traipsing across the card, so fun for texture. Sunflower Micro Glitter (MG07) and Yellow Mica (FRM08) were mixed and sprinkled over some Beacon ZipDry glue.

Remember, these products are just arriving to your local stores. If you don't see them there you might find them online, too!

Details:
Stamps: Minuet Bird (Stampendous), Scrolled Blossoms (Stampendous)
Paper: Bazzill Paper
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento, Tsukineko), Prismacolor colored pencils, coffee spray
Accessories: Sunflower Micro Glitter (Stampendous), Yellow Mica (Stampendous), May Arts Ribbon, paper distress tool (Tonic)

But who doesn't like a quick trip to the craft store.

Each week you will be giving a shopping list to go hunt for your supplies and get ready for the challenge reveal every Friday!

Here are the details of the new
Mixability Challenge

Oh yeah, I'm so excited about the challenge I forgot to mention that I will be part of a talented and inspiring team hosting this every week! I can't wait until Friday!!!!!!

Valentine Verve

It's time for a fun and notable Valentine for Share today. This card is a sweet and quick card with Verve's No Matter What set and it also has a fun cut file using my Pazzles Inspiration Creative Cutter. Those spiral note paper layers were the result of enlarging and chopping a few cut lines from the original file and then I hand-scored with my Martha Stewart Score Board (which if I had the embossing tool for the Creative Cutter it would have all been done from my machine!)

If you're in the Treasure Valley and want a card like this you are in luck! Sign up for the Valentine Card Class at Inspiration Boutique in February!

If you want to know more about Copic Markers, there's a class for that, too!

I'll be back tomorrow with Stampendous and some of their NEW stamps and Essentials! Can't wait to show you!

Details:
Stamps: No Matter What (Verve Stamps)
Paper: Heart Foil Paper, Kraft (Wausau), Luscious Lime and Cherry Cream (WorldWin Treasures), Black
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Archival Ink, Ranger)
Accessories: Cut File (Pazzles Craftroom), Score Board (Martha Stewart), Resin Rhinestones (Buckle Boutique), Twine (The Twinery), Hot Pink Organdy ribbon

We LOVE Verve Release Time TODAY

I know you all love Verve releases and today is one of them. Yea! You've seen this set back in November during a special Thanksgiving sale, but now anyone can hop on over to the Verve shop and purchase it. There is just to many sweet sentiments in this set that it was hard to pick one for my first card. So you'll be seeing a few of them from me today.

A little bedazzle-y and zentangle-y on my first card. I love the little hearts on this set. The embossing powder covers the fun patterns Julee designed in them, but I bet you've seen them somewhere on the hop today!

It's {heart} flowers! Woo-hoo! This set is so much fun! Okay, here's the flowers tucked into a ticket and oh-oh-oh! Seam binding that is available from Verve!

New for my New Year

I'm teaching classes. Yep, it's an exciting new adventure for me. I couldn't be more happy in a setting with other crafty people. I'm getting to teach my first love [coloring] and how it flourishes [stamping] in my free time.

You'll find me at Inspiration Boutique in Kuna, Idaho, coloring and stamping two times a month.

Today it's a Copic Marker class and I can't wait for it to start. Signing up is real easy through the stores calendar program.  My next class helps out those spur moments when you need a card and even getting to the store to buy one take time. Here's one of the cards for our All Ocassion Cards class.

I admit that I'm trying to make sure the cards are metered mail safe. I usually hand deliver my more elaborate cards and those happen to be the ones I show through my blog. It's difficult to hold back. LOL

I'm using a Verve Stamps Plain Jane for this card, which reminds me, today is also the 5th of the month and that means Inspiration Hop! You can get to the beginning of the hop by starting on Julee's blog today.

I'm a bit happy about my new adventure and curious as well. So I want to know...
What's your favorite class to take?

Details:
Stamps:  Birthday To You (Verve Stamps)
Paper:  White (Neenah), Deep Graceful Geranium (Coredinations), Sky Lilac (Chatterbox), Bazzill Basic Green
Ink:  Brushed Corduroy (Ranger)
Accessories:   Corner Chomper (WRMK), Mandarin Twine (The Twinery), hole punch

Sweet colors and a Sweet Challenge or Two

Happy New Year everyone! It's time to return to this routine of posting some of my favorite things to do. I'm getting a bit of fun in with coloring these days. I've started teaching some basic classes in the Valley and well, I need to brush the dust off my markers and get back into the swing of things.

I made this card and decided to use it for the Paper Craft Planet Sketch challenge today, so I hope you'll pop on over there, say hi and grab the sketch. It's a sweet little sketch if I do say so myself. Tee-hee.

I'm posting for Stampendous today with a Kiddo Hop card. I really enjoyed getting back into the skin tones and I realized I haven't tested out those other fabulous combinations in a while, so that's where I'll be headed dusting off my markers. The Kiddos is the new challenge for January. Please join us every month and play along as much as you want using Stampendous products (bonus points for using them) and link up to join in the gallery fun.

I've made it even easier to link up your Kiddo! Just click the Felinius button and add your details!

I'm popping back in post publish to add my marker selection for the curious minded (click to enlarge).
