Welcome to our July 2014 Spotlight Hop for Day 2! We have four days of new Verve to Spotlight and everything that you see this week will be available in the Verve online store on Friday, 7/11. If you missed Tuesday's hop you can go to Julee's Tuesday post to view Moments Remembered Set.
You have come from Guest Diva Kay's blog if you are swimming through Day 2 spotlights and you are right where you need to be at the right moment.
The Peaceful Medallions Stamp Set has fabulous flowing designs which put me in the mood to create my own background paper. Now that is a great stamp set in my book! I used water diluted acrylic paints to get the color down and then stamped various medallions from the set to create interest. I duplicated this technique for the sentiment panel and just needed a few feathers from Moments Remembered Stamp Set because their so cool. Once dry, frame lines were made with a pen and ruler.
Here are a few closeup's of these fabulous stamps at work.
I hope your mojo has been tickled so far with the spotlights today and we'll be back tomorrow with more new Verve!
Your time is up here and you next hop is Charmaine's blog.
