Keeping Cool

The weather is heating up this week in my area and we are finding ways to cool down! Maybe a dip in the local swimming pool or just a few more ice cubes in our water will do in a pinch, but one thing I use to love to do when I was young was a car ride in the evenings!

And today I'm posting about my love for the foothills in Boise, plus those rides of my youth with a card creation I made for a Stampendous catalog! (As you know my blog is frequently sponsored by products I receive from companies that I love and Stampendous is one of them!)

My card uses a stamp, paper, ink and markers, oh some glue too of course! A simply fun time for someone who loves to color! This stamp reminded me so much of driving around with the windows rolled down as a younger self, plus those days I use to bicycle all Saturday morning with two fabulous friends! I miss those days. You can find supplies and instructions at the end of my blog post if you would like to color up this fantastic stamp!

Anyway, do you know who else is keeping cool this week? Some of my design team buddies and Stampendous!

  8. Oooooo! I love this! It makes me think of being a kid and running through the alfalfa fields that were our backyard! Why is it that when we were kids the heat didn't seem to bother us but now that we are older it stops us in our tracks?
    Great card! TFS!
