Lighthouse Day is Today!

It's unofficial, but today is considered Lighthouse Day! These monuments along the coastlines are always filled with such intriguing stories it's a great idea to call them out on their own day!

So why not share a Lighthouse card, right? Stampendous recently released a holiday stamp for the lighthouse enthusiasts and I was intrigued by it because I had never really looked at how the light plays in the night sky. Thanks to Google, I found some reference images and started combining colors from my Copic markers. (I received this stamp and other Stampendous supplies as part of my design team work.)

I wish I would have jotted down the exact combination, but I believe I went from a light yellow (Y11) to light green (G20) before moving into the muted blues in the night sky. All the Copic colors are provided below in the supplies section.

I'm not the only one sharing this great stamp today. Stop by these blogs for more lighthouse inspiration!

Here's how I made my project!
