Tombow Hop with Stencil Duos

Stampendous and Tombow USA are on a hop for the weekend! You are invited and we are already on day TWO, but not to worry you can always go back and see all the inspiration from Day 1!

We have prizes for the hop and you can find out all the details on the Stampendous blog, but the quick deets are to comment throughout the hop and check off what you can on the Rafflecopter giveaway widget hosted by Tombow! Click here to start the Rafflecopter giveaway.

My projects today are using NEW Stencil Duo Sets by Stampendous, you'll get to see those in a minute, but I've also use Tombow adhesives all over my projects, they are what holds my project together!

I used Blossom Duo Stencil Set on Mixed Media White Paper die cut with the new Fitted Frames A Die Cut Set. The open blossom stencil was taped down on the paper and stenciled with Dreamweaver Regular Embossing Paste. It was set aside to dry under a small fan while I stamped the card base with Rose Pattern Background Stamp and cut out the color cardstock Fitted Frame layer.

Note: Always clean your stencils immediately after use otherwise the paste will dry on the stencil making it hard to clean.

I taped the clean stencil back over the first level and then taped the pattern stencil on top to make a second layer of stenciling. I cleaned the stencils and dried them before adding the blossom stencil back onto color the image with Pan Pastels.

Now the Tombow products really kick in and pull my project together! The layers glued together with MONO Multi Liquid Glue. The short piece of May Arts ribbon tied into a bow was held in place with MONO Adhesive Dots so it could have the liquid glue added to the edges and adhered to the card base. The sentiment is trimmed with Fitted Frames, stamped from and ScrewLoose N Sparky Perfectly Clear Stamp Set and tied to the bow already on the card base with May Arts twine string. I wanted the sentiment to stay in place so I cut a piece of Foam Tape for the back and aesthetically placed it.

Thank you for stopping by to see my project and join our hop this weekend. Here's the hop list for your convenience.
