Stampendous and Tombow Blog Hop

Hi and happy hopping on this fine Saturday! This weekend my Stampendous teammates are hopping with some fabulous designers from Tombow. Each team is trying out something new and we are excited to share what we made with them, for the Stampendous team we are trying out the new Tombow Recycled Pencils in a beautiful set of 24!

There are prizes for our friends who hop along this weekend and enjoy seeing some of the Tombow creations from earlier this week, too. For details on the prize packages to two lucky commenters, go to the Stampendous blog post today.

My project today is using Cling Pop Up Forest Stamps Set and matching dies along with Forest Sayings Perfectly Clear Stamp Set. For all my color on the tree, I used Tombow Recycled Colored Pencils and Dual Brush Pens.

Here is a photo journal of how I made my card.

Stamped and colored leaf branches in Purple Ash fall colors.

Stamped and colored the tree trunk (did more coloring
after photo was taken to get rid of so much yellow)

Scribbled separately blues, then greens in Dual Brush
Pens onto craft mat and sprayed with water.
Critical: Use a small brush to swirl in circles to
get bigger beads of color.

Trim to size and glue onto matted 5 x 7 inch card base.
Tip: Use glue all over in light circle motions so the
wrinkles will flatten out.

Use Tombow Foam Dots to create different dimensions of
branches.
Stamp sentiment onto card base.
Here is the completed card.
Thank you so much for stopping by today enjoying your hop with us! Make sure to hop on to the beginning of the hop by clicking on the Stampendous blog link and if you have already been joining us your next stop is Pam Hornschu.
