Stampendous and Faber-Castell Blog Hop

It's Friday Hop day and I'm happy to be back, boy what a week, to share with you a little album I've started and ready to fill in some of the pages. First let me say, welcome to my blog and the last day of the collaboration with Faber-Castell's Design Memory Craft.

For all the details on the prize package you can go to the Stampendou Blog and get them there!
Janelle Stollfus ,, you are here!

Here are my supplies in a photo and I'll share the links later in my post.

The cover was created with the Bouquet for You Perfectly Clear Stamp Set, PITT Pastels in Red, Green and Neutral, Pop Rectangles Stencil, Dreamweaver White Embossing Paste and palette knife. The black blob is a skein of black crochet thread.

I chalked up the inside cover with Faber-Castell Black Chalkboard Paint, Look Fabulous, White Big Brush Pen (not photographed), and a White PITT Pastell Pencils.

I created the third page with stamps from the same Bouquet For You, a PITT Artist Small Pen and PITT Pastels.

Almost the same as the first chalkboard Paint Panel, except for this panel I embossed with Detail White Embossing Powder.

The last page is fun, but a messy technique. Add the stencil over the album and tape down. Dilute the ink from the green Gelatos® tube with water in a small bowl and paint onto album through the stencil. I pressed down on the stencil close to where I was adding the diluted Gelatos so the watercolor wouldn't run underneath the stencil. After that I went around the edges with the brush to  fill it all in.

Here's the finished piece.

    1. Aw, thank you Barbara! I'm glad you noticed my vintage stamps prop. I missed taking a few process step photos, so I fixed it by showing the supplies used for each page of the journal.

  13. This is awesome, Janelle! I almost did a mini album but since I had done two previous albums, I wanted to do something entirely different. Good thing I did because I wouldn't want to compete with yours, it's amazing!
