New Fabric Fun with Linnie Blooms

Welcome to the Linnie Blooms and Stampendous Fabric Fun Collaboration week!

When Stampendous was at CHA they found this wonderful new company and immediately thought of hundreds of projects to make, so guess what we get to do this week? Yes we do!

I'll tell you a little secret, at one point during CHA Laura at Stampendous asked us if there were any companies we thought would be fun for a collaboration week, so I went to the Winter 2015 CHA interactive booth layout and looked through all the companies that were there and wouldn't you know I thought among a handful of companies, Linnie Blooms products would be fun to use! So now you must know how excited I am about this week. Yay!

Okay, so you might be interested maybe about some prizes and link lists, then maybe my project for today, so that's the order of my post. Let's get going on it!

PRIZES!!!! Prizes are randomly selected from commenters who provide somewhere in the comment, their online profile or blog that they are a resident of the US or Australia for these prizes. If there isn't a way to find that information, a new commenter will be randomly picked. Don't miss out!

Stampendous will be giving away to 3 (three) US commenters,
The Stencil Specialists (Australia's distributor of Stampendous and Dreamweaver Stencils) will be giving away to one commenter on the Stampendous
  • Stampendous Stamp
  • LL-sized Dreamweaver Stencil of your choice
  • Silicone buttons mould
  • Stampendous Embossing Powder (your color choice)
Linnie Blooms will be giving away to one commenter from their blog posts during this collaboration
  • All New DIY Home Decor Kit
WOW! Sounds like a good hop to comment! {wink} Now on to our hop list!

Janelle Stollfus - you're here with me now!
Now for my project that I'm sure you would rather see than learn about all the goodies you could win just for leaving me and the rest of the designers this week, some comment love. Right?

I received these cute little canvas file folders from Linnie Blooms and my first thought was what do you normally do with a file folder and that just stumped me, so I decided to start painting them and see what idea sprouted from the colors and patterns that emerged.

I ended up with a small mixed media notebook!

A sewn-in muslin bias tape bookmark

A front pocket for stickers, golf pencil, etc.

Each page with an encouraging sentiment.

Finished notebook!

  7. this is very pretty. do the pages get stiff? I am usually not into this type of art as I do not have many supplies and don't understand all of the ideas. bty I live in Ca. tho I don't understand the need for that either. haha a lot I don't understand.

  9. love this. It always discourages me when I see all the products needed. you guys must have rooms full of products. I know it's not your purpose to be simple but do you ever make anything that doesn't require so much? I have been following stampendous for a while. I have a few stamps and love them but my projects need to use fewer products.
