Owl Leave you with A Million Little Things

It's the wrap up to a week of Stampendous Owls and also the last day of Hope You Can Cling To 2014 on Splitcoaststampers. I've combined these two together with the Mix-Ability Challenge that is being hosted by Dina this week. Check out the amazing gallery for Hope You Can Cling To, the Owl gallery from a full week of posts on Stampendous and lastly the growing gallery for the

We'd love to see you join us for this challenge!

I created the pattern paper with Stampendous Creative Palette Monoprinting Plate, DecoArt Acrylic Paints (Dragon Fruit, Toffee, Snow White, Sapphire, Dark Chocolate and Red Alert), and paint tools (brayer, stencil brush, paper towel for texture). Once it was dry I trimmed it down and added the stamped images from Cling Filigree and Medallion Circle using paint on a sponge. Once dry I added it to an A2 card base (a 4 1/4 by 11 inch piece of cardstock folded in half to make a 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inch card base).

I colored PenPattern owl with alcohol markers after stamping it on white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored a shadow for the branch and leaves then trimmed around the image.

I added foam adhesive to the back of the owl image and set it down on the card to position where the sentiment would go. Once I knew the area I placed the owl off to the side and stamped the sentiment from Life Words in Ganache StazOn ink. I added PenPattern Owl to the card and it was complete.

Here is the list of Copic Markers used on the owl.
Body: E11, E15, E25, E29, E08
Beak and claws: YR21, YR24, YR26
Branch and Leaves: E41, E44, E47, G40, G43, G46
