New for my New Year

I'm teaching classes. Yep, it's an exciting new adventure for me. I couldn't be more happy in a setting with other crafty people. I'm getting to teach my first love [coloring] and how it flourishes [stamping] in my free time.

You'll find me at Inspiration Boutique in Kuna, Idaho, coloring and stamping two times a month.

Today it's a Copic Marker class and I can't wait for it to start. Signing up is real easy through the stores calendar program.  My next class helps out those spur moments when you need a card and even getting to the store to buy one take time. Here's one of the cards for our All Ocassion Cards class.

I admit that I'm trying to make sure the cards are metered mail safe. I usually hand deliver my more elaborate cards and those happen to be the ones I show through my blog. It's difficult to hold back. LOL

I'm using a Verve Stamps Plain Jane for this card, which reminds me, today is also the 5th of the month and that means Inspiration Hop! You can get to the beginning of the hop by starting on Julee's blog today.

I'm a bit happy about my new adventure and curious as well. So I want to know...
What's your favorite class to take?

Details:
Stamps:  Birthday To You (Verve Stamps)
Paper:  White (Neenah), Deep Graceful Geranium (Coredinations), Sky Lilac (Chatterbox), Bazzill Basic Green
Ink:  Brushed Corduroy (Ranger)
Accessories:   Corner Chomper (WRMK), Mandarin Twine (The Twinery), hole punch
Pin It

  1. Hi Janelle, I saw your question about what type of classes we like...I love classes that teach me something I can use...like your coloring class (too bad I'm not where you are). Techniques, how to's for products, etc. Always looking to learn more about new stuff manufacturers are coming out with.

  2. Thanks for your reply. It really is a help to know what people want. Maybe someday I'll grow up and travel for classes. Until then you can go to the Copic website and look to see if there are local instructors in your area.

  3. Technique classes are the top ones I would be interested in. How would we ever learn all the stuff manufacturers make if not for people like yourself that learn and pass it on! Cute card by the way!
