Two Peas in a Pod with Core'dinations and Stampendous

Well, I think there might be three peas in this pod (post) today because I'm so excited to be using some new paper!!!!!! I have a wonderful passion for paper, it's been that way for as long as I can remember, so when we were given the opportunity to use Core'dination brand paper here on our Stampendous hops this week... Let's just say I was in my own little world.

Now the blog you just came from would have been from Scrappy Chick Cyndi's blog. So you are in the right place. If you are just getting started you can see the full list at the end of my post. :)  There are prizes to be won, just comment on each team's blog as you hop along today and throughout the week. There is a big hop on Saturday that you don't want to miss, so come back each day on Stampendous blog! Okay now on to my card.

I used three different techniques with this paper (maybe even four if you let me count using my copic markers). I dry embossed the background paper and then sanded it with the sanding kit from Core'dination Co. They have this cool little clean up cloth to get rid of the dust and lint created when you sand the paper.
I put piece of black magic cardstock through a paper crimper, sanded and then tore the tops and bottom edges. The last technique was the basic one, but with such a wow on design. I sanded the paper first, then cleaned it with the cloth, then heat embossed my stamped Jumbo Amaryllis. So pretty! I went back into the center of the petals and used my R56 markers for shadows. The last technique I did before cutting out the flowers was to add some fun flock to the centers of the flowers. This card was so easy to make and has a lot of pack of wow in it!

Now there is more to the hop and also as always prizes for commenting along the way. Have fun on your next hop to Krissy's blog!
