For You, it's the best I can imagine

Good morning and a good hop morning at that! It's August Diva Inspiration Hop and Andrea was the last stop before coming here. So glad you could join us today!

I've had some of the postCHA reviews on my mind and paint seems to still be a hot technique on cards. That's good because I do like to get my fingers covered with paint. Sometimes a paintbrush just doesn't swoosh paint as good as the tip of my finger so I get pretty messy, but it is oh so much fun. I think I was deprived at the finger paint station in kindergarten and I'm living it up now. LOL

My Verve-y goodness comes from the Twitterpated Stamp Set and the coordinating Hearts and Swirls A Cut Above Die. My eye's lit up when I flipped to that combination for the sentiment. From there I just started adding all the surrounding elements using the latest iSpy Sketch 27 for placement and distressed with ink, paint and graphite pencil. To give it a touch of bling I added Martha Stewart glitter on glue dots and a small trail of dots in the top corner... just to repeat the adorable one on the embossed frame.

Here's the full line up if you're just getting started out otherwise you are off to Maureen's for some fabulous inspiration.

    1. Thank you Lynne! What a nice comment on my card. I actually still have hesitation before I start adding paint. The nice thing about paint and the distressed look is if you don't like something it actually looks intended when you paint right over it in a translucent layer style.
