Little Love Day

There is always a little bit of room for coloring. I take my markers and sheets of digital stamps around the house with me wherever I think I might sit long enough to color. So, I have quite a few images colored, but getting the time to be in my craft room and use them for a card or scrapbook project is really slim pickin's.

Last night my BlogStar buddy Jennie Lin Black (has some exciting news by the way) said she was deciding between two things, one being coloring, and of course I told which one she should choose! LOL She said that her layouts are always simple so that she can quickly get them on a card. Guess what I did right away?!?!?!?

This darling little love is from Lori Boyd of By Lori Designs. Her January release was so adorable I splurged and purchased the WHOLE Set. So this little girl is Sara  (scroll down a bit on the linky to find her) and has made up such a sweet little banner. I had originally created this for the BLD challenge 22, but as I mentioned at the beginning, I didn't have time to put it on a card before the challenge was up.

I used some new dies on this card. A friend gave me some nestabilities, yes I said gave... she just isn't using them and she new I'd put them to work. She's a sweetheart I tell ya. It's the lacey circle die from Spellbinders Paper Arts Nestabilities line and a coordinating circle die I already had for layering.

The other die is that lovely "u". This die is from the A Cut Above set by Verve called "I Heart U"

Thanks for letting me share some of my little love today. Hope you have a wonderful weekend! I'll be back tomorrow with a new Stampendous challenge!

  1. love love this! I'm thinking of breaking out my sewing machine to use on paper, maybe I'll have better luck with it than I do on fabric lol!
