I'm on SplitcoastStampers Today
Good morning everyone!
I have been very excited to let you all know that today I have a tutorial at Splitcoast Stampers!
They have been such a wonderful group to work with and help me in getting this Date Night Tutorial put together. I owe a huge thank you to Beate Johns and Lydia for reviewing, editing and setting up my tutorial so professionally, as they always do for SCS tutorials. I'm sure there are others that helped as well, that I don't know about so, thank you!
The step-by-step instructions use the "It's Date Night Time" kit project.
The video tutorial is with this sports theme gift set kit.

DigiStamp Boutique Fifi Princess
DigiStamp Boutique has the cutest girl images and most of them I can image all sitting or standing in a row as a big family. They are the best for use as a multiple image card, but sometimes these little gems can create a big impact and my project today will show you just what I mean.
I made up some composition books for party favor bags to go to each girlfriend that came to my daughter's party this last weekend. (You'll notice that the notepads that are stacked haven't been decorated...I just couldn't wait to show you so I snapped a shot before I had them all finished.)
Thanks for stopping by!
Details:
Notepad Size: 3 x 5 inches
Stamps: Fifi Princess
Paper: 99 cents glitter paper from Target, Neenah, Basic Black
Ink: Laserjet, Prismacolor Markers (didn't get them written down)
Accessories: Corner Chomper, organdy ribbon

Birthday Present from Chloe
Happy Monday everyone!
Boy, do I have the cutest birthday girl to show you today! It is a digital stamp from ISS and not my DD even though we did have a birthday celebration this weekend. LOL
We celebrated with my daughter's friends from preschool in princess fashion with Castle cake, Royal Play Dough, make your own RKT castles, and a Royal Court Coin Hunt...sadly though the castle bouncer house lay in our backyard deflated and covered the whole entire day because it was constantly raining. Such a bummer for the party attendants, but my children were able to squeeze in some time jumping in it before the rain came ....Okay that's enough of my weekend story.
My card is using LAST Monday's InStyle Stamps Method Monday tutorial. I had it all ready to go and then my princess party became my focus for most of the week. Now, you need to go see Lana do these coordinated buttons like a real professional.
Ready for another technique? I used a new-to-me technique with digital papers on this card. I'm not sure where I got this idea, surely one of my late night blog surfing, but you can digital paper piece! Click on the whole card image and look at the dress, present and bow you'll see the papers in miniature size of the regular size papers I used on the card.
Quick How To: For Paint Shop Pro, have both the digi-paper and image open in their own file window. Select All on the digi-paper and copy it. Go to the image and select the area you want to paste the digi-paper (some apps call it Wand Selection) and in the Edit menu use Paste into Selection. Do this for any of the areas you want to digi-paper piece then you're done! Now I think that is a paper (and ink) saver, don't you think?
Have a blessed week!

Martha and Marvin are happy as can be
I'm back with another image from DigiStamp Boutique's Offer of the Month and it's Martha and Marvin happy to be together. These monkeys continue to make me smile!
Have you ever gone some place, say for dinner, and found exactly what you liked. Everytime you go back you want to order the same thing again? Well it's the same with me and the marker choices for these monkey's. LOL I tried to change up my colors, but I just kept gravitating back to the same colors from this card. It's their destiny in my crafting world.
I told my hubby about the monkey's at the zoo from my daughter's Preschool field trip last week, who were crazy happy to just swing around on the ropes and then these DSB monkeys came to mind as having a monkey happy love! Ahhhhh.....
I went over and checked out Sally-Ann's newest stamps at the Boutique and she has got some serious cuteness for new stamps. There is a chorus of frogs, Stu, darling Kira, a snoozing Spike and a napping chap. They are all just fantastic!
If you have made any projects with a DSB stamp you should pop on over and check out the details of the monthly competition at the DSB Blog. You might have a chance at next month's Offer for free!
Have a wonderful day everyone!

Happy Birthday Waltzingmouse!
Happy (first) Birthday Claire and Waltzingmouse Stamps!
Here's my hop in the Friends of Waltzingmouse Stamps Blog Waltz with a Birthday theme. I can't wait to see what other people have come up with for their Birthday cards. Go to the WMS blog to get the details for the blog waltz.
I really am in love with this set called Asian Gardens by Waltzingmouse Stamps. It's my first set of it's kind with an asian theme (other than my Kanji set from Stampin Up) and it makes me smile.
and the flip side of the card:
It's subtle, but the birthday wish is in the images. The bird is inside the cage and the flip side image is the bird outside of the cage. A wish for breaking free and enjoying the moments that come.
This card is also for these other fine challenges: TLC272, TLC273, Stamp Something Challenge Blog

Wisdom of a Father
As you are reading this I might just be coming home from a windy day at the zoo with my daughter's preschool. I hope it turns out as nice as I am hoping it will be.
The theme for InStyle's Over the Hump Day Blog Candy Give Away is Father's Day. My card that I'm showing you today just has the most cheerful of men on it. It's Saju from InStyle Stamps (he'll be available shortly). He's on a Father's Day card that only describes the dad with Wisdom. He has quite the smile, doesn't he?.
I like learning new things so I was delighted in the Tie it All Together videos on YouTube that gave me a couple of ideas for knots on this card. I ended up using the Plafond Knot (lanyard knot) a couple of times with leather rope and it was not going to happen, so I switched to Silkessence Microfiber yarn and it was MUCH easier.
There are more OTHDBCGA cards from the design team. If you have a little bit of time, go take a look at their Father's Day inspired creations on the InStyle Stamps blog.

Balancing Life
It's Friday again! I'm so glad we are finally here. It's been a busy week for me and I'm sure it's been nothing less for you as well.
It's a new month and so there is a new sketch challenge at InStyle Stamps today. I say this every time, I think, but you have to go see some of the Design Team's creations, they are amazing! You can see them here, but only after you've seen someone new right here!
InStyle Stamps has a new line of stamps coming out this month. Her name is Chloe and in this digital stamp she's balancing very well an apple on her head. I needed to fit in another Mother's Day card before we celebrate this weekend, but I think she could be used for all a card or gift to give all of the hardworking teacher's in our nation. She's a cutie!
If you want to play with this versatile sketch don't forget to link it up at the InStyle Stamps blog here. You'll have a chance at a spiffy prize if you do-oo.
Have a splendid weekend, and for all of the mother's who are reading this before the weekend, I wish you a restful and beautiful Mother's Day.

Mmmmm Birthday!
Wow! These little DigiStamp Boutique Monkeys are fantastic to color! So Mmmmm is for each monkey on the card Martha, Milo and Marvin, Marvin (again) and Martha (again). I couldn't decide which one to color and then I had a fab idea to just put as many as I could on one card. LOL
I'm sure that this may look a bit of a plain card, but those monkeys have mostly stolen the show (and space on my card) so why not give them the spotlight. They really do come to life when you see this card in real life.
If you like all four of these images and plan on adding them to your cart...you may as well get the Offer of the Month because there are three other really cute images too.
Have a great week!

A Sleeping Princess
A very special place to sleep is always a must for our furry friends and this little princess from the DigiStamp Boutique has the perfect spot to sleep. It makes me tired just watching her there. LOL
For some reason it tickled my fancy at a try in a SCS challenge (WT268), and so I found an easy one which was to use chipboard. I don't have much on hand so I used a sheet of thin chipboard and cut it out three times to make a thick chipboard frame for this picture perfect napping feline.
Have a great weekend!
